Same for me as well. Thanks to ShinG3e's advice, I now have a Maybank Singapore iSavvy Saving Account. Recently, the debit card and security token were sent to my home, and I have activated the access to Maybank Singapore online banking website.  rclxms.gif

DBS enhanced DBS Visa Debit card + multi currency savers account
Basically if you have foreign currency in your multi currency account you can use it for POS/online txn at no fees

Correction. Now DBS is charging commission (min SGD10/x% - depending which one is higher) for deposit & withdrawal of foreign currency notes.

Yes that is correct but if you already have foreign currency in the account it's free of charge

Are there any fees when I transact in foreign currency using my MCA-linked DBS Visa Debit Card?
There will not be any additional foreign currency conversion fees for your point-of-sale or online purchases.

Ya. I just saw on their pdf file. Any banks don't charge this? (CIMB SG waived it) Also, if transfer via money changer will get black listed by MAS?

Not by MAS, but risk BNM.. because if you transfer >RM 10K you need to declare.

But still many people do that.. mostly to escape reporting to BNM.

Cause some people told me that money from money changer may be dubious so MAS will flagged it then become problematic for you in SG.
Nowadays money changer let one person transfer max RM50k only.

Still depend on your amount you transfer. IF really MAS has flagged your account, it will be frozen until you can explain.

Yes money changer transfer is always suspicious by both MAS and BNM, otherwise why transfer through this method. innocent.gif

BNM has already removed several money changer license recently due to reporting violations.

And the illegal money transfer case by 1MDB does not help the situation at all.

latest update here , i just open a maybank.sg account in the main branch in my area, and the super friendly staff told me that 1 month is needed for sg branch to mail everything to me, So, if anyone interested to open a maybank.sg account, do the following:
(1) go to main branch (save time)
(2) bring IC
(3) make sure u have maybank.my bank account with you
(4) no need bring any cash as the bank will directly debit from your account (500 SGD)
P/S: rate is 3.17xx : 1SGD , for 500 SGD (as of 17/1/2017) , you'll need to pay around RM1600
