Mine was 2-3 hours plus. I was like what the hell. It's Singapore man. Even slower than our BSN. This happens in DBS.

Over one hour on compliance, half hour trying to sell products, manager approval, etc. That's why many are not keen to open new account.

Cimb SG or transferwise. I prefer  transferwise cheaper. Of course you don't be like our friend here Jack2 who kena banned from transferwise. for God knows what he did.  So far I had no issue with transferwise. Rate cheap and speed fast.
They don't support transfer from SG.

I found transfer wise is the worst lol. Comaring with Instarem and SingX, transfer 1000sgd to msia need 10sgd of processing fee. SingX only 6 dollar. Not sure about CIMB SG. Where can i see the rate from sgd to myr for CIMB SG ? icon_idea.gif

Is already cheap vs SG banks. And no one transfer only SGD100.
For those without access to Singx, M1 remittance, instsrem SG, transferwise is considered God send as the only 2 way to send money back to malaysia cheaply (transferwise and Cimb SG ). That's why I said if have access to other service use other service. If don't have, then one is stuck with the 2 of them.

Rates can be found after login.

More or less transferwise rates. Sometimes transferwise wins, sometimes Cimb. Still cheaper than using DBS/OCBC/UOB.

I don't transfer money back to malaysia. I only transfer money to Singapore.
Contact their customer service and tell them you want to open a SG account not Malaysia account. Secluded an appointment with SG Instarem. Account should be easily opened if you had all the documents.
Another alternative is head to their office straight at Hong Leong tower.

I'm trying to apply for CIMB fastsaver online but it says only Singaporeans and Singapore PRs are eligible.

How can I open a bank account without being in SG?

For CDP account, has anyone managed to replace the OneKey Token (due to battery completely drained out) for free, during the last few months?

Apparently, there is a form for the replacement of OneKey Token, in CDP website. Token replacement fee of SGD 15.00 (inclusive of GST) is stated in the form. sad.gif

Is my choice to transfer money. I never rushed any other service than instarem. Used to use moneymatch until realised moneymatch more expensive.

Way cheaper than banks, fast (same day if you transfer in the am), reliable. Amount displayed = amount received. Won't be single sen less. Highly recommend. thumbup.gif

If transfer from CIMB MY to CIMB SG, the cost will be much higher compared to Instarem.

Dont know. I compare with instarem and moneymatch. Whichever cheaper I use that. So far instarem always cheaper. Fees you need to see how much kena charged on the main . Buy can tell you definitely cheaper than banks. Maybe slightly more expensive than money changer by about RM20
