Then all u need to do is bring out ur GS and slay that "khezu" hamsap neck n continue with MH..

Added on June 16, 2010, 12:22 pmerm some dummy items are not available on MHU because dummy item ingredients are given as rewards for certain download quests.

some recent download quests give some of the required ingredients for some of the items.

however, i ll just point out that most "dummy" items are not really useful by the end of the game/later levels due to their poor sharpness or low defense (low/medium rarity)

how long did you guys play mhfu till so pro?

since MH1 appeared

i also want to join the gather, but oh mai, bangsar so far liao, the far i can get is one utama/ikano area

my fren got 800+ gameplay hours lol^^ he is really pro, he can go for hunting without bringing even single pot for it
i got nearly 300 hours but still noob

When you reach High Rank or G Rank. 1st thing is PLAY SAFE!

i more or less 500 hours but i still cant fight narugacuga! dammit!

During my MHPG2 before, I use HBG with evade+2 combination. It's not easy but the fastest weapon that can kill Naruga in less 15minute.

Right now Im playing MHFU and just reach HR 5 last night. Wheee far away to reach G rank T_T
Oh ya I forgot to add, can some pro or GL master/Lance master tell me which weapon to use for High Rank?

Just asking in terms of mechanics... I'm a MH3 player using Hammer.

I started playing MHFU 3 days ago, using Hammer as well.
Currently at 2* farming Kut Kut and Congalala... I notice I kill them too fast before I actually break their parts.

Kut Kut ears aren't a problem - sonic bomb and he does drop them as a shiny.
But for Congolala, I can stun him but I kill him before breaking his horn for the pelt drop.

Any advise?

well thats the problem i used to face as well. U just have to save all ur hit on the parts u wan, like the horn, all the hit on it, not even one hit on other parts. Coz if u do that, normally after the horns break, a few more hits will finish it off

this happens when weapon overpowered monster
try bringing lower raw with quite the decent elemental. should be able to break.
i tend to notice hammer can deal alot of damage. too much, i think...

Usually I use trap first and then triple pwn his head or wait till he do his sweeping attack n later lay down static for awhile. Doesn't matter your weapons overpowered the monster when u triple pwn his head sure it will break.. more power weapon the easier to break the horn.

probably your aim is not good enough?

mh3 doesnt have rajang, rajang is an example of hard to break parts. to break his horns u need to break it twice, usually most of the time, if the attacks are sloppy, one horn will break and it dies.

using hammer u will be forced to use up all ur traps to get solid triple pounds to the face

may i suggest you use a gs instead? just play hit and run with his face.

imo gs is the best melee weapon when it comes to breaking parts.

well you could start using Full Generator or gun chariot as you face mostly monster that are either weak of lighting or dragon.
