sound interesting... lets do it... the world smallest gps device.. hahaha
*
It is the smallest android with papago. And the result is amazing. The screen is small, but I used a holder that I installed on the right sight of the driver. The holder is a long type, but it align and just right above my speedometer. I can see it very clearly. Sound loud. And one thing about papago is, the yellow arrow is big and wide. can see easily. The pop up junction view is a bit small though. But can be understood. Just dont try to read those words in the pop up. SO tiny.

I think X10 mini met its target. But for a larger screen android, HTC, Samsung should be better. I heard x10 lag very badly. The Mini X10 on the other hand, work smoothly.

Hmmmmm I didnt have those messages. If you follow the instruction, it should be fine. You need to extract libpapago.so to the NaviSEA folder, move the folder to the SD card and then only run the apk.

just need to turn on the satellite, and then run papago. walah. ONce it detected you, it shows you where you are straight. Of course indoors cant really work. Even in a car, if you sit behind, very good tinted car can block the signal. In front at least the front one usually dont use higher great.

Added on August 18, 2010, 7:44 amoh wait, you need to turn on the satellite, those messages will appear if you dont 1st time, is the meesage from SE aps, not papago. So is Ok. Dont turn on dataline, turn on your GPS instead.

well.. is a very long way....goto

setting>security & location>use GPS. click this one. The same as the one prompt by papago for you.

I suggest all x10mini to add the power widget. To do this,

1. at home screen, click the left button
2. select arrange widgets
3. click add widget button.
4. from the list, scroll down and select "Power Control".

this widget use useful as short cut to turn on gps, bluetooth, the backligh, wifi, etc...

add a "data traffic" widget also, if you want to turn on and off the data traffic from time to time...

the data traffic will enable you to use the 3G line to go to the internet, facebook update etc. If you leave this one, there is a big chance you will surf the net or get something updated via your 3G data line. For those who pay for unlimited data plan like DiGi, Maxis etc, thats probably ok. But if your are not, end of the month your bill may touch RM600 ha ha ha haha.

Since there is a lot of wifi hot spot, I do not need data line. Even social networking, I sometimes get update and view from the phone. Not all the time. To download aps from the market, I do it at home via my home wifi.
