It's a common problem keagan, though I think some may have solved it by the way you transfer your contacts from your old phone to the X10 Mini. Go back a few pages and you'll see pianrasa's response to my question regarding this issue. Fyi I still have this problem, so I have made double entries (+60XX & 0XX) for people I get in touch mostly to temporarily solve this issue.

u r asking people not to attack u but ur tone of writing really begs for it.. u never said that u wanted the mini to function as an iphone but the other guy was just making a comparison between the mini and the iphone... come on..light up..

people took the effort of giving u suggestion(s) to solve the problem/issues u have with the phone, at least show some gratitude and not sounding like this "and no . it only changes the wallpaper . not anything else." even if it the method suggested was not really the solution u were looking for...

I was just stating an obvious fact, comparing this phone with the other smartphones out there. No need to get "all worked up and getting all sensitive" about it lor, because after all, it is "just my opinion", and "everyone has an opinion", right?

Added on August 5, 2010, 8:19 ampianrasa, if it was me, and I wanted a black background but the phone doesn't have that option, I'd just take a photo of something black using this phone, and then change the wallpaper using the photo I have just taken, because you do have an option to use photos from your album and make it as a wallpaper.

yeah.. that method works but wouldn't it be cool if u can change the theme completely from blue to something else? changing the wallpaper would only disguise the blue theme on the home screen. it will still appear in (stock) apps such as contacts, messaging, albums etc... (which is not a big deal actually) but android users chose android because of its level of customization rite?

perhaps someone has found a way to change the theme.. pls share.. btw 'Thank You'

rooting is d only way i guess, but still i haven't tried it yet
X10 mini rooting

Is this phone recommended? I'm lazy to go through 19 pages of reviews so I think one conclusion would be ideal. I want the 3.5 jack and also the wifi which is found in this phone. I'm pretty happy with that two features.

Can Mini Pro play WMA files? Mine seems not able to do so...

not sure bout the mini pro..but i can play .wma files on my mini just fine. they are in fact identical except for the physical keyboard.

who has problem with +6 .download this apps,number fixer .it will make all the number have +6 which is a bit easier than putting +6 in every number on your contact list

u guys,

try transferring the wma files using SE Media Go. the wma files played just fine on my X10 Mini using stock music player. btw, i'm on build 1.1.A.0.8.

i used copy paste... when opened with stock music player, complain "unsupported file format"

@pianrasa, when u use Media Go, does it convert? still wma when reach ur phone ?

If i not mistake Media Go will convert the video automatically... but cant remember become what format...

Media Go does convert wma files. in my case, into mp3 format. fyi, i always use Media Go to transfer just about any multimedia files into X10 Mini.
