the 75-300 also got macro... plus, its not a DT lens.. unlike the 55-200 which is a DT (another words, DT is designed for apsc, non -DT is for FF)

QUOTE(kming @ Jun 13 2010, 06:18 PM) Hello fellow orange army, seeking advice for my little a200. Depends on whether if u manage to get any good deals on non sony flashes, but 2nd hand sony flashes like the f42 or f56 (if u can find this rare piece) are really great bargains.Should I get a Sony flash or any other brand. Recommendation welcome. |

hazril, as others have mentioned, its too warm and the skin could use a bit of cloning.
pull back your blacks a bit. its too strong, making a very 'hard' image. and also i think taking the pic at her eye level instead of looking down makes a better angle, but this is of course a matter of self preference. |

lightroom will not be able to let u do layers and blending as far as i know. u will still need PS for that.. experiment with layers with different blending modes set to different opacity to get the look that you want..

if you want to compare only this 2 pics, then i'd say the left one is better. but the magenta still doesnt work on me.. maybe i dont really like magenta-ish pics to begin with..

i'm seeing a flaw in sony's VG design. notice how the shutter button is lower from the top of the grip compared to canon and nikon's? they said that this is so the sony users will experience a more natural shooting height coz of the that's where the lens and grip alignment is irregardless of being horizontal or vertical.
the glitch i see in this design is, when i am using the grip in a horizontal position, the camera and grip is very well handled in my hands, very comfortable, very ergonomic, with the grip supporting the lower palm (when without the grip, the lower palm usually rests slightly under the camera) its when i am using it in a vertical position, the same problem exists again as when i am not using a grip, although not as serious this time as the height of the grip is slightly taller compared to the camera body. there is still a slight protrusion of my palm to the bottom when used in that position. this is where canon and nikon's VG design makes sense. but when it comes to controls, there's still no other VG in the market is as complete as the A700/850/900 series as yet. p/s: thanks mike for the compliments, not sure if i added noise, but i dont think so i did, coz was using quite a high ISO, shooting handheld... and it was still A100 that time i think...
