Does DHD comes with stock recovery mode (vol. down + Power Button) or is it only enabled once DHD has been rooted?

I have a friend who mentioned that all stock androids that comes out of the factory should be able to do stock recovery (method above). If not, the set is no good.

I would like to know if the above is true? I tried on mine but it doesn't not happen.

Don't worry about that..How many times have you taken your phone for a warranty claim before?

lol dun play play. I just sent mine in after 1 month usage (problem came 2 days after purchase). But unrooting and returning to stock is easy if you understand what you're doing in the first place.

i tired to root my x8.. but it jz hang at waiting for device there !!!

i dunno wat went wrong. i unmount sd card, turn on usb debug, install the superoneclick software. pressed root , it just hang there , and ends up not responding ... anyone can help me ?
