when did your streamyx got activated?

Anyone who already get the HP netbook, can you try the sim card slot to see whether it working with 3G or not, the sim card slot is right inside your battery compartment, took out the battery and u can see a small slot for the sim card, try it

how to interface the 3G adapter with the sim card slot?

and what does external graphic card has to do with the sim card slot?

ooo i see, i really want to get 3G on this netbook plus I want to upgrade the battery to 6 cells

Like this I don't want the PCI-E WWAN anymore becoz it is model specific.

If I buy the USB 3G adapter from Celcom, next time if I change, let say to Maxis 3G, can I just simply took the Maxis sim card and insert it into Celcom USB adapter? will that work, cause I might change from Celcom to Maxis or to Digi or to UMobile at anytime, I want to experience all of these 4 different brand to see which one work best for me.

but donno is real or not lar, maybe just technical error on the database or what. anyway, i read some review the hp110 are slightly thicker and heavier lol

LOL, netbook is not meant for high speed, most ppl underclock their processor to lower to gain longer battery life, but u did it the opposite way.
I dont like the 110 probably the screen size a lil different and the mouse pad is not the same like the 210
Btw does the 210 has a build-in microphone for the webcam? need to make skype call with this baby

Don't get confuse with all this new or old.

110 and 210 refer to HP Mini series (which is their netbook casing and the motherboard)

Each HP mini series has it own specifications and configuration and they name it to 110-XXXXXX or 210-XXXXXX
XXXXXX refers to each of their alteration.

Just an example:
Today HP may release 210-1073TU and next 3 months they may release another 210-1003TU with same chasing and same motherboard but different cpu, different ram, different graphic card chipset, different hdd, etc but still it is from the same series of HP Mini 210, just different configurations

Straight to the point
110 = Old series (but can be loaded with latest configuration)
210 = Newer series (with old or latest configuration)
311 = Newest series

So to conclude this
110-3004TU is an old HP Mini series with latest revision on the specs/configuration
netbook casing = Old
Mobo = Old
Processor = New
HDD = Old
Wireless chipset = New
Media Reader = Old
and so on... HP is a computer manufacturer, they can put anything they wants as long as its compatible with their netbook casing and motherboard.
And what affects the Old, New, Old, New, Old, New??? The answer is "Stock availability" and "Cost control"

Not fully Mobile Broadband, the term he/she refers might be incorrect.
You will get mobility within in your house and all Streamyx Zone nationwide.

If u want true Mobile Broadband, u can get from Maxis, Celcom, DiGi, U Mobile, or P1 WiMax. Streamyx or TM doesn't provides any celullar wireless services. However they do have "Streamyx Wireless" with CDMA technology which you can bring your wireless modem to any coverage area with no string attach.
I have this subscription 6 years ago when my fixedline in my area here are not ready, and TM gave me a CDMA phone, it has a build in rechargable batteries, and I can online in my car or in any coverage area with that phone, the phone kinda like a digital phone with caller ID, and its gives me mobile broadband experience

Mean you terminate your streamyx within the 24 months contract or you move your streamyx to different address or location, example you move house

But I heard some people manage to get waive the penalty fee of RM600 if you can get to approach them to do so, begging them might help

Is your current subcription still under the contract? What is your current streamyx package?

110 is widescreen, but it is not as wide as 210
