at last after more than 20h of waiting, i can connect to the net.. so far im quite satisfied with the speed and hdspa singal strength has been hovering around 94%-98%

btw im not sure if its legal to ask it here, ive been experiencing "connection closed by peer" when running torrent by using maxis wireless bb.. is it normal?

happy with this.. signal strength is 70%. location at ayer keroh melaka

maxisbb happy hour is 2am-7am... u can use p2p with full speed at that time

the only reason i got this stable speed is because im using an EXTERNAL ANTENNA

location : Kuarters TNB, Jalan Bukit, Kajang

which modem you're using? and which EXTERNAL ANTENNA?
i'm still searching and looking for it, not much available in Malaysia for TS9 connector.

stability = significantly more stable i mean less fluactuating speed
speed = depends
signal bar... 1-3bar increase

havent test outdoors yet
at my quarters works wonders but my workplace still crappy unstable althou the signal is near full bar

oh, i'm looking for external antenna with TS9 connector cause i'm using Sierra Wireless Compass 885, recently just found one than can gain about 5db~7db, but in international market there are many choices, hard to find in malaysia..
i got full bar of Maxis HSPA, but yet still i wanted to pull more signal strength..

a maxisbroadband technical staff once told me.. the Ec/Io reading is the most important.. anything better than -10dBm the error rate is good enough to get stable speed..

i'll try to do an outdoor speedtest 1st to is there any diff.. between full with antenna or fullbar without antenna

my latest speedtest:

now at UTHM...very slow here..
