tq for ur answer bro...
hmm....but it strange coz my bb cant detect 3G network, n i checked at maxis bb web, my place not in 3G coverage area..
is it possible dat the website not updated?huhu....
*
i also have the same problem at my kampung before. using handphone and refer to the maxis web, my area have 3G coverage either for broadband or for handphone, but unfortunately when I'm inside my house, the 3G disappear and when I walk away from my house just for metres, I get back the coverage. maybe my house's roof is 3G-proof. rclxub.gif

What do you guys usually do with your 3GB of quota? I found out that 3GB is really not enough for me.  hmm.gif
*
yeah, 3GB is not enough. upgrade to 6GB or 12GB. smile.gif

Go the way of SingTel - 30GB minimum, 50 GB maximum

wow! really? that's totally awesome! drool.gif

No man, RM98 for 6GB? I'd rather subscribe to P1 although the speed is slower than Maxis but they offer much GB for bb users.  sweat.gif
Singapore BB is far much better than Malaysia BB, the prices are almost the same but the quota they offer is unlimited if my memory doesn't fail me.  tongue.gif
*
me too.. biggrin.gif i really hope they can improve their services and increase the quota, nowadays most of the websites and files are "heavy". shocking.gif

Maxis broadband sucks! I have been using it for 1 weeks, at first it was smooth and speedy. After 7 days of the trial period, the problem started to occur.

I can get connected to Maxis bb but I cannot browse any website. WTH is this? I contacted them and they said they would take 3 - 7 working days to solve my issue! WTH man! 3 - 7 working days?

I'll file a complaint to MCMC if they cannot solve my issue or should I complain them now?  vmad.gif
*
what do you mean by "trial period" and which package you are using?

i have the same case before. normally if the quota limit is reached, i'm unable to browse or really slow speed.
but on the next month, although the quota limit is not reach yet, the speed is really terrible and i terminated my plan.

recently i have the same case again with a new plan, but luckily i've solved it by changing the modem. fyi, in my location, uia gombak, when i'm using the modem that can support more than 7.2mbps i'll get a really slow speed or even unable to browse the internet. but when using the modem that can support only up to 3.6mbps, i'm able to surf without any problem.

for Huawei E172 maybe up to HSUDPA = 7.2mbps or HSDPA = 3.6mbps, hmm.gif
but for Huawei UMG1831 is up to HSPA+ = 28.8mbps, and can get 7.2mbps since Maxis only offers up to that speed. biggrin.gif
