looks good! biggrin.gif is the black 'lining' part rubber or plastic?
The black lining part is actually silver and metal.. Mine is silver, anyway.. Although you can opt for a black finish as well.. Silver stands out more (in my opinion, since the phone is black as well).. Black would work though, if you wanted it to appear as part of the phone..

Hope this helps.. I don't have a good camera at the moment.. and have to resort to the built in cam on my Macbook sad.gif

Been using my iphone4 for a couple of days now, but I'm getting rather annoyed by the amount of fingerprint and oil on my screen (guess I got oily hands?). Any good screen protector you guys recommend to solve this?
*
To reduce the amount of finger prints you should get a matte SP and the best one out there is PS Antiglare.

I just tried on the SGP Ultra Thin Pastel Series... man... I read some reviews and people said this thing was "glossy as hell"... I didn't really think much of it. After I tried it... MAN.. this thing can be very SLIPPERY!!

Mine took 10 weeks to get here, from the date of payment.. But I think the latter orders should be much quicker.. They've got most of the previous orders finished now.. You should email them and ask about your case, they give a reply within a day..

Good luck, mate.. smile.gif

I have changed 2 different screen protector for my ip4 in the last 2 weeks since i own it. And now waiting for my 3rd to arrive.

The first was the SwitchEasy Pure(AR+) matte screen protector. A few days after, I dropped my phone...went *thud* on the tar road and skidded a feet away. My heart sank. Checked on it...it landed on the lower left corner and flatten the bumper case i got free from apple. On the front, there were 2 puncture on the screen. I went back and removed the protector and the screen was flawless! PHEW! the sp took the brunt of the impact. Was wondering if it were a cheap RM10 sp, would it save the screen?

But it was ok, I intended to change the protector anyway. Did not like the matte surface. Not satisfied with how the matte surface affected the retina display.

The 2nd sp was the Capdase IMAG...a slightly matte protector but still affected the ultra-crisp-clear retina display. So i bought another sp...the SGP. Will give it a short review once i installed it.

My wife is using powersupport crystal sp, didn't like it. It is thinner then most of branded sp.

I am using sgp oil resistant sp for my iPhone , it doesn't really resist oil, I would say probably about 10% resistent then normal sp.

May change to sgp anti finger print sp soon, but have to compromise on the screen clarity...

Successfully installed the Otterbox Defender Case Black Series for iP4.

After assessing all reviews from various sources, I've decided to take the risk to invest on this product.

PRICE:
A bit pricey for its performance. But for long term usage, it's worth it.

PACKAGING:
Quality of packaging is decent.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Clear and concise.

BUILT QUALITY:
Very good. No manufacturing defects so far.

PERFORMANCE:
No bubbles on the screen. The Retina display is unaffected. Duribility is still under assessment. But by watching numerous Youtubes, this case fulfils the promises. Waiting for Otterbox water-proof casing, if there is one.

OVERALL SATISFACTIONS:
Will invest again should I have various other phone models. Although it "surpresses" the natural polished beauty of iPhone 4, but investing on the protection to ensure the phone is alive in everyday usage and various unintentional accidents, this case will do the job perfectly. Highly recommended. Who needs ZAGG anymore....?

Got it from here:
http://www.amazon.com/Otterbox-Defender-Ap...87978538&sr=8-1
Delivery was just 3 working days.

U need to either sacrifice clarity of the screen or oily screen.... I doubt any SP out there could do both.... If there is Im sure everyone would be buying that by now and get reviews all over the web. So choose which one you wanna sacrifice....

I think both SGP and PS SP are the best so far after reading so many reviews and suggestion... Just choose one and live with it...

I am currently using PS Anti-glare, yesterday I have switched from 16gb to 32gb and the PS still usable. One word I can said, good quality. thumbup.gif

I tried on normal SP which is clear type before the switch. After applied the screen not as smooth as anti-glare. Ended up I took from 16gb and put it on 32gb. Now I got the smooth feeling back. Great.

maybe so, is just attracts less oil.
not straight away no oil. alot of the reviews i read from people. they are expecting no oil at all.

the whole thing about the olephobic is that it attracts less oil, and if there is oil it is easier to wipe it off than normal SP's.

on a side note. i have SGP ultra crystal clear SP for sale if u want. came bundled with my case.

Thinking of switching from my Power Support Anti Fingerprint SP to a Crystal Clear SP, as I really can't stand the display being reduced 5-10% by the blurry effect. Also, it somehow reduced the sensitivity by a bit. I would just wipe off the fingerprints since occasionally I do this on my Power Support too (Anti Fingerprint will still get very very little fingerprints and stain on it). Any recommendations on Crystal Clear SP? I have a SGP Crystal Clear bought from Mac Studio in Lowyat, but I'm not sure if I should put it on now.

I don't like the SGP Crystal since it is so thick, I tear it off straight away after 15 mins of usage, your home button feels sunken. PS Crystal is the best in terms of thinness, some more you won't even know a ScreenShield is there. PS Screen shields usually leave a little bit gap in the home button so that you can press the home button easier, provided you line them up perfect.
