Just wanna share some pictures and review with people who would like to have an Apple Bumper for their iPhone 4.

I got this original Apple bumper free from my brother who is working in Singapore. And I am loving it.

Just a little review:

Pros:
1. Volume and sleep buttons are craved perfectly and it fits perfectly. The pressing of the buttons is just like pressing the phone's button itself. The button's material (I think) is the same material of the phone. rclxm9.gif

2. "Wrap" the phone perfectly.

3. Light weight.

4. Won't feel bulky AT ALL.

5. Will not affect or lift up the edge of ur screen protector (front & back) after put on. At least it doesn't affect mine although I take it off and on a few times already.

6. Fix your antenna issue. At least fixed mine.

7. Most importantly, it won't "reduce" the sexiness of your iPhone 4 !!!

Cons:
1. Although it "wrapped" the phone perfectly, but it doesn't fit 100%, I would say it fits 95%. Because I do feel some loosen here and there some times. Especially when it is taken out from a tight jeans pocket and if you press the bumper a bit, you will get a "click" sound, just like when you are putting on the bumper. Which I think it was "push" by the tight jeans and get a little loose. But it won't come out and u won't be able to notice anything AT ALL by just looking at it, beside the sound you get when pressing the bumper. whistling.gif

2. The connector opening was cut too "perfectly". You won't be able to use any other after market or third party connectors. It only fits the one you got from your box. I saw some reviews say it doesn't even fit some older original connector, but I am not sure as I do not have any older one to try. But I did try it with my 3GS connector and it fits perfectly. sweat.gif

3. Since you can't use other third party connector, this means you mostly won't be able to use it on any dock, docking sound system or in car iPod connector when the bumper is on. cool.gif

If I am reading you correctly, my answer is, I am not sure. I am just using it for 1 week ++, it still looks white and clean now. Not sure after some times...

Any suggestion for cristal clear screen protector.
I have only one requirement, visibility must be almost equal to no screen protector.

@Hean,

Yes, same bumper. Apple just started to sell it after they stop the free case program.

You get to choose different colours now...

Added on October 10, 2010, 1:04 amBy the way, I've just taken off my bumper and checked. So far, I couldn't find any scratches on the steel band.

I've been using it for a week plus....Hopefully I won't get any, coz i really like the bumper. Am thinking to get Griffin Elan Frame too.... drool.gif

I personally prefer this Griffin Elan Frame.

almost all clear sp will look invisible thought, even the free clear anti-static from my switcheasy colors is doing fine laugh.gif
but if u r talking about antiglare/anti fingerprint, go for power support as its one of the best around...

i first got the stealhguards on the front n back, took off the front stealthguards cause my fingers dont feel good gliding around the screen. got the switcheasy clear ones on now, very clear and almost not visible with perfect cutouts!
but its still not feeling good on the fingers, i think i'll put my final(powersupport antiglare) in the next few days as i know i wont be taking the powersupport antiglare out once applied...so save the best for last sweat.gif

p/s: btw guys, anyone got the powersupport antiglare + the 3M DINOC carbonfiber front piece on together?

Yah, invisible shield is the way to prevent scratches on the phone. I remember I did get a lot of scratches on the chrome ring of my 3GS when I was using those slip in, clip in, slide in hard case.

Added on October 10, 2010, 1:32 amMy only suggestion is DON'T GET the Belkin ClearScreen although it is cheap. The cut out of the front camera is very bad. You will get huge bubble around the front camera no matter what ever method you tried to removed it. You may see it in one of the pictures I attached above in my Bumper review.... vmad.gif
