Not sure any of u guys using originl Apple bumper case. I am using it and found a very weird thing.

The bumper case fit 99% during normal room temperature. rclxms.gif But I found it get a bit loose in the night in my room with aircon blasting at 16degree full speed sweat.gif . Could doh.gif this due to the metal frame of our iPhone 4 shrink a bit in low temperature? You know? the science thingy we learned in school (still remember kah? whistling.gif )

Hahahahaha...frankly I planning to get one of that Elan Frame. But I really like all the bumper buttons layout and how perfectly it was "craved" to fit the phone's button...not sure how well is the Elan Frame button layout. Any review?

the apple bumper uses silicon and plastic as well, too bad only the black one is available through the case program, waiting for mine to arrive
*
My brother in SG gave me a white bumper, but i still think the black one is nicer sweat.gif ... The silicon part of the bumper (I think) is the same material like our USB cable, at least it gives me that kind of feel when I touch it....so I think it tend to get dirty and turn yellowish after some times...just like our cable.... sweat.gif

But still, I like bumper and planning to get Elan Frame.... thumbup.gif

*
I tried yesterday night putting it beside my bed but it didn't happen again.... hmm.gif
then i tried to put it under the aircon direct blast, then it start getting a bit loose again....hahahaha...maybe that night the weather is damn cold after heavy rain in the midnight....okok...enuff of this kind of experiment.... doh.gif

Just wanna share some pictures and review with people who would like to have an Apple Bumper for their iPhone 4.

I got this original Apple bumper free from my brother who is working in Singapore. And I am loving it.

Just a little review:

Pros:
1. Volume and sleep buttons are craved perfectly and it fits perfectly. The pressing of the buttons is just like pressing the phone's button itself. The button's material (I think) is the same material of the phone. rclxm9.gif

2. "Wrap" the phone perfectly.

3. Light weight.

4. Won't feel bulky AT ALL.

5. Will not affect or lift up the edge of ur screen protector (front & back) after put on. At least it doesn't affect mine although I take it off and on a few times already.

6. Fix your antenna issue. At least fixed mine.

7. Most importantly, it won't "reduce" the sexiness of your iPhone 4 !!!

Cons:
1. Although it "wrapped" the phone perfectly, but it doesn't fit 100%, I would say it fits 95%. Because I do feel some loosen here and there some times. Especially when it is taken out from a tight jeans pocket and if you press the bumper a bit, you will get a "click" sound, just like when you are putting on the bumper. Which I think it was "push" by the tight jeans and get a little loose. But it won't come out and u won't be able to notice anything AT ALL by just looking at it, beside the sound you get when pressing the bumper. whistling.gif

2. The connector opening was cut too "perfectly". You won't be able to use any other after market or third party connectors. It only fits the one you got from your box. I saw some reviews say it doesn't even fit some older original connector, but I am not sure as I do not have any older one to try. But I did try it with my 3GS connector and it fits perfectly. sweat.gif

3. Since you can't use other third party connector, this means you mostly won't be able to use it on any dock, docking sound system or in car iPod connector when the bumper is on. cool.gif

If I am reading you correctly, my answer is, I am not sure. I am just using it for 1 week ++, it still looks white and clean now. Not sure after some times...

@Hean,

Yes, same bumper. Apple just started to sell it after they stop the free case program.

You get to choose different colours now...

Added on October 10, 2010, 1:04 amBy the way, I've just taken off my bumper and checked. So far, I couldn't find any scratches on the steel band.

I've been using it for a week plus....Hopefully I won't get any, coz i really like the bumper. Am thinking to get Griffin Elan Frame too.... drool.gif

I personally prefer this Griffin Elan Frame.

Yah, invisible shield is the way to prevent scratches on the phone. I remember I did get a lot of scratches on the chrome ring of my 3GS when I was using those slip in, clip in, slide in hard case.

Added on October 10, 2010, 1:32 amMy only suggestion is DON'T GET the Belkin ClearScreen although it is cheap. The cut out of the front camera is very bad. You will get huge bubble around the front camera no matter what ever method you tried to removed it. You may see it in one of the pictures I attached above in my Bumper review.... vmad.gif

I am using the seperate cut speaker and front camera SP from Belkin. But It is a crystal clear type (fingerprint magnet). Bought it from Apple shop in Mid Valley. It is quite cheap, RM 30 something for 3 pieces. thumbup.gif
