Really struggling between the Wildfire and Desire now...which one to get? The price difference is double...but then, so are the specs. Don't know whether I'll regret later if I pick up the Wildfire over the Desire.

I'm not a modder nor am I very tech-savvy...mainly for calls, sms, web-browsing, Facebook, some GPS although I don't really require voice navigation...yet. I do prefer a decent camera and video-taking capability. Should be very handy and easy to bring about so the Galaxy S is out of the question.

My wife use it for my daughter too. But to get best of GPS, camera and video taking... it would be Desire. You need to have big screen to use GPS while driving. Desire will get 720p video recording on Froyo.Added on August 19, 2010, 4:48 pmNot really into gaming...but should be able to play games particularly for my kids...useful distraction tool! |

Hmm....maybe I should stick to Wildfire...if need good camera, got my DSLR, GPS...well...my colleagues think I'm a living GPS device, wahaha.
Prefer the smaller size of the Wildfire too...dimensions-wise, it might not seem like much, but quite a difference when you're actually handling it. |

DSLR is much much much better than phone camera. even Desire or Galaxy S. GPS... it might be time you need to go to place you never been. But I think Wildfire should be ok for that occasion. Not like me, I'll dad turtle when I go in KL without GPS... My main gripe is with the screen's resolution. At first glance, still look ok, but once you start using it, then you notice the pixelation....irritating. But compared to normal phone screen, still looks pretty good. My mistake was holding it next to a Samsung Galaxy S...
