The scene where the pod emerges is enough to shake the whole room and the air pressure generated is immense. Then, as it starts zapping everyone, it is astoundingly awesome thumbup.gif

That's alright, the word "Holy cow!" is an exclamation of surprise used in American and Canadian English.
You probably should had your time spent on googling "holy cow!" , rather than determining its a blu-ray title.  doh.gif

This BD prices really scary la.. like forex. Up and down in minutes. Anyone bought ' A Space Odyssey 2001'? Whats the movie about?

Most say its not so much of a movie but more of a breakthrough in the cure for insomnia ...

Seriously, its slow burning, artsy and an acquired taste. Its a 1968 classic! Its by Stanley Kubrick! If you dun feel excited now, you will probably be better off with Armageddon.

(It has excellent PQ BTW)

If yes the Dollar is at reasonable rate, why not have a look at Cnet's Top 40 Must Blu-ray [probably some not all time favorite]

Better choose your own top 40. Everyone's preference is different from others. So far, only 1 BD which is ready to dispatch in my list. sad.gif I need at least 2 BDs before I made my order.

My top 40? I guess i could only generate 20 of my favorites on blu-ray[not from CNET's list tho].
Some of my favorites not on blu-ray like , Mean Machine, 1983's Brainstorm, Six Million Dollar Man, 21 Jump Street, CHiPs, 1983's V Original mini-series, The Streets of San Francisco (1972), Hawaii Five-O , Escape To Victory etc.

If I am not mistaken, 'The Nipple' is not only on the cover, but the disc as well. Can some nipple lover verify this? tongue.gif

Anyone done comparison between UK and US version of Ponyo? US is released by Disney / Buena Vista whereas UK released by Optimum Home Entertainment.

The downside for US version is their only got Japanese: Dolby Digital 5.1 but UK version got Japanese: DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1. On the other hand, US version got English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 whereas UK version got English: LPCM 5.1. rclxub.gif

Which version is better? icon_question.gif
