now kid see high school musical, naruto and etc..

maybe they need to freshen up the Ultraman franchise a bit ... perhaps get Barney to play the lead role of Ultraman and Miley Cyrus as that purple dinosaur's love interest. Sharpay of HSM can be the evil monster in pink.

iirc, the US version of 9 Songs is not as explicit as the UK version, despite the boast on the cover "full uncut explicit version".

I said i'm just rousing around, didn't mean anything. If you have problem understanding people's comments , get a dictionary alright!
*
sorry ah ... i no go skool last time. so my engrish no gud. i took u up on your own advice and looked it up in the dictionary. the word "rousing" means:

QUOTE
Noun 1. rousing - the act of arousing; "the sexual arousal of emotions"
change of state - the act of changing something into something different in essential characteristics
excitation - something that agitates and arouses; "he looked forward to the excitements of the day"
incitement, incitation - an act of urging on or spurring on or rousing to action or instigating; "the incitement of mutiny"
inflaming, inflammation - arousal to violent emotion
stirring - arousing to a particular emotion or action
stimulation - the act of arousing an organ to action
titillation - an agreeable arousal

Adj. 1. rousing - capable of arousing enthusiasm or excitement;
stirring - arousing to a particular emotion or action
stimulating - rousing or quickening activity or the senses;
2. rousing - rousing to activity or heightened action as by spurring or goading;
provocative - serving or tending to provoke, excite, or stimulate; stimulating discussion or exciting controversy; "a provocative remark"; "a provocative smile"; "provocative Irish tunes which...compel the  hearers to dance"-
i guess by now u must be pretty aroused by this thread.

It's the other way around. domestic law does not allow the display of genetilia. however, when exported outside Japan, they are not bound by this limitation.

U can readily buy these off-the-shelf from major AV store in Japan. That's where I got mine, from Akihabara.

btw, with regards to my HDCP handshake problem with my Cisco HD, I decided to do away with HDMI and just connect the Cisco box to the Denon using component cables instead. No longer have the handshake issue. PQ looks just as good as when I used HDMI, so it's ok now. thanks for your help.

What a coincidence. I watched Minority Report yesterday too. Neva caught it at the movies, so first time watching. Interesting storyline.

PQ grainy was deliberate for that artsy fartsy look. AQ was good, esp the gunshots.

Btw, disappointed with the steelbook. No artwork inside, not even coloured. Just bare steel .... made it look like milo tin. Same goes for Werewolf steelbook. Hope this trend doesn't catch on. That's just lazy and cheap.

That's alright, the word "Holy cow!" is an exclamation of surprise used in American and Canadian English.
You probably should had your time spent on googling "holy cow!" , rather than determining its a blu-ray title.  doh.gif

Oh sorry Mr. Sky. How silly of me. I dunno ma ... when i go skool last time they taught me Englund engrish ma. I no learn American and Canadian English. I din even know they spoke english. Sorry ah. Anyway, i ordered the Holy Cow dvd alredi. thanks.

If I am not mistaken, 'The Nipple' is not only on the cover, but the disc as well. Can some nipple lover verify this? tongue.gif

Konferm. Sometimes, only the BBFC single nipple. Sometimes double nipples becos of the Irish nipple.

Cool, also noticeably the steelbook front art cover looks clean withouth nipple, which tempts me to get one too.

Its a Marvel Comics hits la bro maskedchan..
*
The Kick Ass steelbook will 99% chance get a nipple on the cover and hinge. This is the standard rule of the BBFC. What you see on amazon website is just an artwork mock-up. Take a look at The Wolfman order page and you'll see the same thing .... no nipple on the cover but in reality, there is. So this is somewhat misleading to say the least.

The only UK steelbook that I know of (and I have it) that didn't get a nipple printed on the cover was The Highlander. The nipple was printed on the paper slip half-cover but not on the steelbook itself.

From my earlier post on the Avatar steelbook, finally collected the Avatar playing cards. Here's how it looks like:

Attached Image Attached Image

Every steelbook collector's nightmare:

Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image

This isn't the only one damaged. There are dents on the top and bottom of my LoTR steelbook, and top left of Inglorious Basterds. The dents are quite obvious as you can see.

Attached Image

And finally, look at the top of the Public Enemies steelbook.

Attached Image

Doesn't look that bad from that angle, but from the back ....

Attached Image Attached Image

Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper. *sigh*

Crap. Do u think u can get a refund? Or a replacement?
*
Unfortunately, this is no longer an option for me. Only if I returned it unwrapped or in-store swap. Either is not possible in my case.

QUOTE(fadthil @ Jun 28 2010, 12:07 AM)
Adoi... certainly not a good sight... and luck. That's the downside of otherwise cool-looking steelbooks. And unlike cars unfortunately, there's no workshop for steelbooks to repair the dents & knocks....  rclxub.gif
*
Yep. There are those who can DIY such minor dents, but I've never been good at these sort of things. Might just make it worse with my luck. lol.

QUOTE(refnulf @ Jun 28 2010, 08:42 AM)
Which is why steelbooks are a huge risk. It's not like you can go and replace the casing that easily. So you either have to send it back, or keep the damaged copy. Unless you can buy it at a shop safely, you won't find me getting steelbooks. Of course, you'll have to rely on our dealers here in LYN for that smile.gif
*
True. But to be fair, I've never had such problems in the past. Only this time. And a major one too. sad.gif

hk postmen dont handle parcel with care eh?pity on u..
btw how the wolfman?inside also empty milo tin like minority report?
It's not the HK Postal Service. Damage was already done at source. Doesn't help when the box contained no air bag stuffings or bubble wraps.

Yes, Wolfman's innards are exactly like MI .... milo tin.

Anyway, life goes on .....
