Exactly my POV which is why I bought one. At least when I'm in Europe my colleagues and I can share the bandwidth.

Ya I tried now can download free contents via IPAD from apps store Malaysia liao .......
But iTunes store still not accessible yet for MY account !

Mine is fine bcos using my friend account.

Why not apps store on ipad? I bought beejive and good reader using my account on ipad last night.

i hesitated at first coz i had the impression that ipad apps could only be purchased in the us store.

Hm...... you know what guys... i see a great opportunity to create a FAQ.

Maybe a group of you iPad masters can get together and write a FAQ which hopefully the Moderator can sticky.

And sometimes its hard for new users who haven't heard of lowyat forum before but because of iPads they start becoming regular contributing members and when they search they normally get confused. Maybe it can be a group effort. I certainly don't have any right to answer most of the questions simply because i don't even have an iPad nor have i touched one before, but i have certainly read you guys helpful answers to those questions lots of time. Wouldn't it nice to make this forum a more user friendly place.

News for those who intend to buy iPad from Japan (3G versions)

I just got my iPad 32gb from the states and spend on 75 dollars gift card. Today I see the my store just opened. Well, luckily when got my gift card the exchange rate is 3.2 can't wait to get a screen protector when I go back to Malaysia. All the iPad is sold out in LA. I wanna ask, we can still buy stuff over the us store if we are in Malaysia right.

Agree with this. Questions are now starting to repeat. Mainly because of those who joined in thread v2, and missed v1.

Usd so the exchange rate depends on e credit card company I assume.

Good to see there's already a lot of iPad users here. I'm considering to get one and I intend to use it for note taking (mostly). I'm thinking of getting the pogo sketch and a good note taking app, probably CourseNotes.

If any of you have actually used the iPad in such a way, kindly post your feedback. If it has already been discussed, kindly point me to the right post or thread. I intend to lose all the papers I usually take with me to the countless meetings I have to attend and of course, take notes with style!

Your help would be much appreciated.

p/s: would it be okay to discuss iPad jailbreaking here?
