use it for presentation on a day to day basis but cannot export to ppt yet so I try not to make changes to the slides. Only notations.

Using it to make presentations currently because of the mobility it offers (can basically do it anywhere). Sucky thing is i've to transfer it to my Mac in order to export it into ppt to share with my friends. A little extra work for the fun iPad offers.

Exactly. And it's always nice not having to lug around a big laptop/netbook. Currently trying to secure a vga adapter frm a forumer. Wish me luck.

It looks nice with the pocket but however making it stand and also putting an object under looks very awkward...

Any of you guys having problem charging the iPad using laptop?

I have a Dell laptop and I can't charge my iPad on it.

On my bro's MacBook pro I can charge it when it's booted on Mac OS but when load it on windows it can't charge as well.

So the problem is with my OS?

Using windows 7 here.

P/s : Dell service guy came today and even changed the motherboard after I complain to them that I can't charge my iPad, but still can't charge

Hmm I'm still torn between upgrading to ipad 3g or buy a mifi...

Cause every time need to switch on the darn phone a little troublesome. Also during teaching just now I just happened to need to show him some video so I need to switch on my phone, and afraid if the 3gb limit will run out and maxis will charge me a bomb...

Need to survey the garage sales section again or pre order...

Just want to put in my .02 regarding the myfi vs iPad 3G debate.

I went the myfi route and bought one of those huawei modems. My feeling is when I'm overseas, I and my family can all access the Internet by getting a PAYG sim card to use in the huawei. With the iPad, we would all have to take turns on it ( assuming we can find a PAYG micro-sim). Just something to consider if you expect to travel out of the country.

I just got my iPad 32gb from the states and spend on 75 dollars gift card. Today I see the my store just opened. Well, luckily when got my gift card the exchange rate is 3.2 can't wait to get a screen protector when I go back to Malaysia. All the iPad is sold out in LA. I wanna ask, we can still buy stuff over the us store if we are in Malaysia right.

Good to see there's already a lot of iPad users here. I'm considering to get one and I intend to use it for note taking (mostly). I'm thinking of getting the pogo sketch and a good note taking app, probably CourseNotes.

If any of you have actually used the iPad in such a way, kindly post your feedback. If it has already been discussed, kindly point me to the right post or thread. I intend to lose all the papers I usually take with me to the countless meetings I have to attend and of course, take notes with style!

Your help would be much appreciated.
