Real racing HD is awesome. I also bought scrabble, minigore HD, pinball HD. laugh.gif
I want to ask, what do you guys use to protect your ipad cover? I use the iphone type silicon to put on my ipad and a small padding casing.
The weight is not really that heavy laugh.gif

I would like to ask, what is the best brand for screen protectors. Any specific brand or just the ones from garage sale will do laugh.gif Mind giving recommendations tongue.gif Just hit me with a PM smile.gif What kind of screen protectors do you guys use? Antiglare? Privacy? smile.gif
I just want a normal screen protector to prevent my iPAD screen from being scratched tongue.gif maybe less finger prints as well.

From toilet to hotel rooms to starbucks/shopping malls smile.gif I am at home and I use a belkin router+modem and always get nice signal inside my house may it be toilet or dining table tongue.gif

Might go down to sunway machines tomorrow to check the SC for the iPad tongue.gif

Whoa, it must be everywhere now in Melbourne. I wanna ask, I am tempted to subscribe to the wired mag on itunes for 5 dollars. But the thing is, do I have to pay for monthly subscription or I pay 5 dollars and it is free for life tongue.gif Just want to know about the app before buying smile.gif

Tried uncle google but still no avail. I also just send them an email asking the same question. tongue.gif

USD$4.99 per issue. Not free for life!

Wow, that is crazy. For paper issue it is only 1 dollar tongue.gif
And ipad issue is 5 dollars blink.gif We use less resources like paper and ink and yet we pay more?

Anyone got the WIRED app? Can give a review please? It's really tempting. smile.gif
*
I plan to get the wired app but decided not to because of the price.
The app is simply beautiful. Much better than the paper type because you can see 3d models by rotating and the experience is simply amazing rclxms.gif
Sadly you can't copy or send information to people from the app like other like other magazine on the iPad.
Another drawback is each magazine is at least 500mb in space and will talk a long time to download with the connection here in malaysia sad.gif
As for the price, you pay 5 dollars and then another 5 dollars for the issue. Which means you pay 60 dollars a year subscription whereas if you buy paper it is 10 dollars a year subscription. tongue.gif

From what I know, you have to send it back to the US tongue.gif But you can find many who offer service to fix
You can also send to country with apple store and they will send to US back for you if you have the receipt
So if you want to fix, nearest store would be singapore right? laugh.gif

Probably around 1.3kg. Since iPad is 700, then a small notebook and 2 mags. It is not that heavy laugh.gif I have tried it. Then you put the iphone inside your pants pocket. rclxms.gif

Hey thanks you guys. I totally agree with you. When i buy anything i always think of what i can do with it too. I NEVER force a purchase or buy something just for the fun of having it.
Any student user iPad around there. Usually what do u guys mainly do on a daily basis?

One of my points of getting it is for travel. Since i travel to classes everyday by train and also catching flight back to msia and to. BTW, i'm studying in moscow. I already own an iPhone since the 2G era and i feel iPad can serve more as an entertainment object more than my iPhone..am i wrong?
*
Well, I am a student here and I am in college. I travel pretty often overseas. US,UK,Japan,Aussie and so on. I already have an iPhone 2G and it serve me for a nice solid 2 years. No problems at all. Now I am using the 3GS and I use it for calls, text and the apps which help my daily use. My iPad is basically my travel companion. When I sit in the flights for 7-24 hours, it does the job. From tying my school work to playing games. Better battery life and larger screen laugh.gif

When I am at home, I use the iPad to surf the internet while sitting on my sofa watching TV. I don't have to carry my macbook up and down the house which I used to do before having the iPad. One thing I like is reading news on the iPad. I tend to read newspapers from US,UK and our own Msian papers. I don't have to go out and hunt for newspapers when it is available within the reach of my hand. tongue.gif

When I am in school, I use it to take notes as it is much faster than writing during certain days. I still do my report by writing and walk out to the store to buy my morning papers. It just feels weird without it. It has helped me in different ways and different times. I can say sometimes I bring my iPad out more than my macbook because it is lighter and it allows me to type my reports and surf the net like what the macbook does.

The iPad has been great and definitely it fits my lifestyle. rclxms.gif

*
The Dlink one can be used while charging. I just tried just now. Just bought it today. Was thinking between the huawei and dlink. In the end I went for dlink because it is cheaper and can be used when charging laugh.gif Performance wise is about the same. smile.gif

Today I went looking for those leather notebook style flip casing for the iPad from YOOBAO and X-Gear. But I have been using those silicon type for my iPad since day 1 and I like it very much. Still need more poison so I can get one and use it as an alternative. I like those thin ones laugh.gif Will still keep looking as I am not in a rush to get one. tongue.gif

I can say I am one of the early adopters. When a product releases, I will find a way to get it no matter what because I am a gadget freak. After using it for months, and the new cycle arrives. I feel that the difference is not that big and I don't mind using my current gadgets. laugh.gif I hate it when I but in the middle/end of a cycle and a new cycle arrives. I feel that I have not bond with my gadget smile.gif
