unfilled warranty card is useless without receipt
*
Hmm let say i bought my camera on 20/4/2010. I don't fill the warranty card.

Then when it's for example 1/9/2010 i want to send for cleaning, can i fill in i bought on 1/8/2010 or so (as if the warranty extended 4 months)? Do they check both warranty card and receipt if I fill it myself?

Or don't take the risk, just fill the exact date i bought?

Definitely lesser on the buffer if you shoot raw, memory card speed plays a role too!

Btw, went to LYP for the Super GT Roadshow,

The hood... got put like never put  doh.gif . So thin lol, guess it is for UWA on FX.
*
If hood too thick at widest range can see vignett.. that's why the thinness. But nevermind lah 70-200 also can shoot, at least you can cover low light and got photos taken.

Nikkor AF-S 55-200 DX VR f/4-5.6

good for long lasting range?
pro and cons about this lens?
*
Pros:
-good range for tele, 55-200mm
-specially designed for DX bodies
-VR reduces handshake and overall sharper
-cheap and affordable
-reasonable build quality
-value for the money spent

Cons:
-not fast enough like f/2.8 but you only pay 1/7 of the price of 70-200VR
-plastic mount
-not suitable/not optimised for FX

that's what i thought

0.28m, but it is calculated from the focal plane. Meaning.. bout few inch in front of my outer element.
*
that's quite close eh, my 18-105mm's mfd is long >.<

BTW your room very bright eh, just bump iso to 800 can get such bright photo. My room ISO 1600 also can't >.<

Yea imagine this is just a F4 lens, with nikon's best VR system can handheld at 1/10 without shake at all! I tried my 18-105 VR still ok, but below 1/15 will have some shakes.

That's the powahhhh!!!

wat i'll be drooling over is d thought of taking night scene pics without tripod at 1/10 without tripod  drool.gif

if combo with D3s super clean ISO, night scene literally like day time  tongue.gif
*
well if night portrait with useable light source then still can ^^ like in a pub or a dim restaurant..

Nowadays I prefer pumping iso and avoid using flash xD. Somehow ._. Use flash makes things tough...especially on the white balance.
*
Yup that's true. Especially on small objects like danbo, unless i use high power and bounce the flash off ceiling, the result isn't good and using diffuser still produces slightly harsh and unnatural feeling.

Sometimes I even try put on tripod and use slower shutter ==

D90 3200 and High 1.0 has no difference =X

really? i think 3200 and Hi 1.0 is like same noise. But not yet pixel peep at 100%, i just viewed in the puny LCD la XD

But High 1.0 isn't registered in the EXIF as any number, so i avoid using that. the most I go now is 2500 lol
