erm what list of filter? your kit lens is 52mm thread size, so just look for 52mm filters. just search "filter" in the camera sales section and you can find a lot there. yes there's also 52mm macro filter +1, +2, +4, +10 or you could just get the Raynox DCR-250 straight.

have a look at the side of the lens, near the bottom. you can see Φ52mm, which is the diameter of the lens.

if you are on budget, can get octopus cause the price quite reasonable. if you don't have budget then go for kenko quality filters like pro 1D.

B+W the best..the most expensive too..
normally we use hoya/kenko brand...those normal filter only cost ard 60..not sure about cpl filter...
other brand filter also can accept but they intend to have more flare..

no need star filter lah. just get a uv filter to just protect yor lens from scratches and dust. kenko/hoya uv filter will do the job but also aware of fake products.

Added on May 15, 2010, 12:18 amthe photoshooting event is so interesting but i have to prepare for my sem start on 24 this month =.=" cant join.
