yup..its 2 bright.....now lowering the contrast to 60 and COOL colour...lot better....easy on my eyes....

nope bro...mine also in good shape...just 2 tya kbar if our batch of 2209was hd anything wrong then can share...
emm wouldn it be nice if we have a list of forumers with their monitor's model so that it would be easier to share/exchange info's abt certain models...and also easier for a new-to-be owner to ask 4 infos...........

wat happens after the message 'now entering powersafe mode' appeared??.......for mine (2209WA)...when I power up the pc...the same message appear (power button in orange colour) and then after a few seconds it entered the bios (power button turn 2 blue in colour) and operating sys.........its a normal setup....

lower the brightness level (mine at 10..ha ha)....I choose graphic+cool....comfortable with my eyes...and....yes..dont sit to near to it........enjoy your monitor bro... biggrin.gif
