definitely, they just got rid of the original oil poured into the engine at the factory. so dunno when that was, could be ages ago, and by now must be full of muck due to the new engine parts. that's one major reason why they advise you not to trash the car too much before 1000km service. with new (synthetic) oil after that 1st service, you can really stress-test the car!

Added on July 27, 2010, 5:25 pmyeah, i love the aux, using it more often than cd. just plug in an 8gb mp3 player and you are home, bro! the aux port is also nicely placed in the m2 near the handbrake, unlike my other car, where it's at the audio console itself.

hi guys, i need to ask one thing - the mazda2 has a color "True Red" - the sales person says it's metallic color. but i can only see 'icy blue metallic' and grey metallic that has the 'metallic' word.. can anyone tell me if you have seen the red and confirm if it's metallic or not? thanks

I think mat spuntik and squareballs are having the true red M2, maybe they can confirm.

very true red, nothing metallic, indistinguishable from 'ferrari red'. btw it's the missus's car, not mine.

No Dear can't say girls clueless bout this. actually i knew the spec said cd changer only. then flipped thru manual duh 6 disc? i tot oh ya kah got bonus! then messed around with it a bit. oh the darn 1-6 is to use for the preset radio stations. the up n down button to move between folders when u playing mp3 cd.
That's when my curiousity got piqued and i went thru the manual to do inventory check on what is not in our Malaysian specs. Can't blame Mazda for that, if they wanna be competitive pricewise. There is a limit to the premium consumers will pay to for the joy of zoom-zoom.

Not going lah in in Penang. BTW wat does TT stand for tat's been bugging me for a while
