Julio Cesar smothered a Diego snapshot, but Inter lost Marco Materazzi to a calf injury and he made way for Nicolas Andre Burdisso.

Ibrahimovic almost pounced on a weak Per Mertesacker backpass, as Tim Wiese came rushing out.

Dejan Stankovic chested down a Balotelli cross and got to the by-line, firing on to the 'keeper's chest.

However, Werder Bremen went very close to an equaliser just before the break. Claudio Pizarro completed a well-worked team move that included Rosenberg's dummy by shinning a Prodl cross on to the upright from five yards!

That chance boosted their confidence and Rosenberg fired over before Julio Cesar controlled another Ozil snapshot from distance.

Wiese performed a spectacular and decisive save in first half stoppages to deny Balotelli's tap-in from an Adriano assist from point-blank range, although the final touch seems to have come off Pasanen.

After the restart Adriano flashed a left-foot strike wide of the target, while Ozil and Diego blasted into the arms of Julio Cesar. Ibrahimovic unleashed an audacious strike from 30 metres and Wiese held an Adriano set-piece.

Werder Bremen grabbed an equaliser on the hour mark. The Inter defence left too much space for Ozil's long cross to the back post, as Claudio Pizarro came sliding in behind Maicon.

Diego's rocket skimmed the near post, but Mourinho threw on Ricardo Quaresma for Stankovic in a very attacking line-up. Ibrahimovic swung wide and Wiese captured a Quaresma effort from outside the area.

Julio Cruz replaced Adriano and both sides were bombing forward seeking the win, Ibra getting to the by-line only to be closed down, then the Swede's backpass towards Cruz was intercepted by Naldo.

Ibrahimovic attempted a Quaresma-style trivela cross with the outside of the foot, but it swung past both Cruz and Muntari.

Maicon nearly doubled his tally for the evening with a stunning strike, as he went on a run to the edge of the box and smashed a brilliant finish with the outside of his right foot that cracked against the far upright.

Deep into stoppages Muntari clumsily went through the back of Diego to give Bremen a dangerous free kick from 25 metres. It was almost a fatal mistake, as Naldo's fierce touched-on set piece stung Julio Cesar's palms in mid-air and Pizarro incredibly fired the loose ball on to the side-netting!

Reggina had the first shot on goal after 40 seconds, Julio Cesar smothering Luca Vigiani's effort from the edge of the box. Andrea Campagnolo was forced to backpedal furiously to pluck a long Douglas Maicon throw-in off the line, but Franco Brienza blasted over from a promising position.

It was a fast and furious start to the game, as five minutes in Ricardo Quaresma pounced on Bruno Cirillo's mistake to crack a right-foot shot against the base of the upright from nine yards.

Inter broke the deadlock with a splendid goal from Maicon. Zlatan Ibrahimovic shrugged off a defender down the right channel and rolled back for the on-rushing Maicon to smash an unstoppable rocket under the bar.

Mario Balotelli's audacious free kick from 25 metres and a tight angle almost pushed Campagnolo back into his own net, but Vigiani was furious when he appeared to be brought down from behind by Ivan Cordoba and the referee waved play on.

Inter doubled their advantage in very similar fashion to the first goal. Ibrahimovic again piunced on a loose ball and sparked a quick passing move that went through Quaresma to the unmarked Patrick Vieira down the same right channel for a low drive that nutmegged the goalkeeper. It was a fine way to celebrate the Frenchman's first start in almost a month.

Reggina were by no means cowed and got back into it with another fantastic strike. A corner kick was passed to the D where Ciccio Cozza unleashed a fierce right-foot shot that slotted into the near top corner with Julio Cesar rooted to the spot.

They almost completed an incredible comeback a minute later with Franco Brienza's free kick flashing across the face of goal. Cristian Chivu then had to intervene to stop Bernardo Corradi from nodding in.

However, Inter hit the back of the net on the counter and it was ruled offside. Amantino Mancini's magnificent through ball found Balotelli clear, but the 18-year-old hesitated and by the time he passed it back to Ibra the Swede was offside. Ibrahimovic was furious and did not keep his feelings to himself.

Reggina had a great chance on the stroke of half-time with a counter-attack and this time Cordoba's deflection was crucial to turn Cozza's effort past the far post.

The second half saw a big shock for Mourinho's men, as the Amaranto completed their comeback from 2-0 down to draw 2-2. Barreto surged forward and immediately rolled to the centre for Brienza's angled drive into the far bottom corner! Julio Cesar was at full stretch, but could not prevent Inter conceding two goals for the first time in Serie A this season.

Reggina's confidence was sky high and Vigiani blasted just over from distance, then Campagnolo smothered a Balotelli volley from seven yards. Hernan Crespo replaced Mancini - sending Balotelli out to the right flank - for a very attack-minded formation.

There was a huge scare when Campagnolo completely missed a Balotelli long cross to the back post, but Ibrahimovic nodded on to the side-netting of an open goal.

Ibra wasted another chance set up by Balotelli, scuffing the shot from eight yards. It was a very open game with both teams trying to win it and leaving space for the counter, as Campagnolo parried Balotelli's angled drive with his feet.

At the other end Chivu bravely flung himself at Di Gennaro's clear shot on goal from seven yards, picking up a knee injury in the process and he had to be substituted.

It was end-to-end stuff and Quaresma's trivela flashed across the face of goal, then a foolish Barreto backpass almost sent Ibra clear on goal. A soaring Crespo header from Quaresma's cross incredibly shaved a coat of paint off the upright.

Di Gennaro almost scored with a sensational swerving lob that was inches past the top corner with Julio Cesar backpedalling. On 86 minutes Carmona went on a strong run and skipped past Cordoba to bring a one-handed save out of Julio Cesar practically from the byline.

Cirillo did brilliantly to nod a chipped Ibra cross off the head of the unmarked Obinna, but from the resulting corner the ball ricocheted to the edge of the six-yard box for Cordoba's angled drive that slipped through a sea of legs.

The Cypriots thanked Inter for a howler to get them on level terms. Nicolas Burdisso's cushioned backheader to Julio Cesar turned into an assist for the grateful Cedric Bardon, as the goalkeeper was coming towards him! It was a shocking mistake from Jose Mourinho's men and a total lack of communication.

Beqaj got down well to palm away an Ibrahimovic daisy-cutter from 30 metres, while Balotelli was marginally offside as his volley was fingertipped round the post.

The home side lost Paulo Costa to injury, making way for Panagi after 43 minutes of play.

Inter restored their advantage with another very strange goal on the stroke of half-time. A taut Balotelli corner kick found Marco Materazzi's diving header that squirmed between the goalkeeper's gloves and legs to slot in.

It didn't last long, as 60 seconds later Anorthosis had equalised! Substitute Panagi got the goal, although he didn't know much about it. Cambiasso went to clear a corner kick and nodded it on to the back of Georgios Panagi's head so it ricocheted into the net!

After the restart Cambiasso's snapshot was deflected and forced Beqaj into a low save.

Incredibly Anorthosis went 3-2 up with more appalling defending from Burdisso. He nodded a harmless cross straight at Nikolaos Frousos in the D and it was child's play to fire at an open goal! The Argentine was again unaware of his surroundings and too distracted.

This is becoming something of a habit for Mourinho's men, who conceded two against bottom of the table Reggina at the weekend. The Special One made all three substitutions simultaneously. Unsurprisingly, Burdisso was one of those to go along with Amantino Mancini and Stankovic for Maxwell, Patrick Vieira and Julio Cruz. This pushed Cambiasso into the defence and Javier Zanetti in midfield.

Cruz's diving header from a Quaresma cross was well held, but it was so nearly 4-2 as Taher's cross took a napping Maicon by surprise at the back post and Julio Cesar needed a reaction save with his foot to deny Laban.

Julio Cesar was keeping the scoreline down with another splendid save at full stretch on Constantinou.

At the other end Beqaj palmed a brilliant Ibrahimovic shot with the outside of the Swede's right foot.The goalkeeper then punched a Quaresma trivela cross off Ibra's head.

10 minutes from time substitute Cruz made it 3-3 with a free header from Balotelli's powerful free kick.

Soon after Cambiasso thought he had put the ball in the back of the net, but the referee judged Beqaj's save to have stopped it before it crossed the line with his deflection from a touched-on corner.

Ibrahimovic should've won it too, but after he got past the goalkeeper the ball took an odd bounce and he couldn't prod into an open goal.
