Inter Milan fans furious with partying Adriano
tribalfootball.com - February 14, 2006
QUOTE
Inter Milan striker Adriano is under huge pressure after his poor performance against Juventus on Sunday.

Fans are furious after it emerged that Adriano had been partying late on Thursday night before Inter's final training session on Friday ahead of the huge game.

Virglio Sport says Adriano was spotted at Milan's 'The Club' in the early hours of Friday morning and his display at training later in the day has infuriated sections of Inter support.

Adriano has struggled for form since Italy's winter recess and his late return from international duty, which drew the wrath of teammates and coach Roberto Mancini.

at least this year they are still in contention for the 2nd place. they were slightly unlucky to lose against juve, they deserved a draw.

Inter's Mihajlovic to retire in May

Former Serbia and Montenegro defender Sinisa Mihajlovic is quitting at the end of the season.

"The time has come for me to announce I will retire in a few months," the 36-year-old Inter Milan player was quoted as saying on Belgrade's B 92 website on Friday.

"Perhaps I could have prolonged my career for another season but I want to walk away remembered as a great player. Inter will be my last club and I am definitely calling it quits in May."

both Toldo n Cruz had signed a new contract.

kinda surprise of it, especially Toldo. They haven't been shown much appreciation that they deserve from the club.

2 away goal this time
I tot this time could be a bad game for Inter but they managed to make it

Juventus scored 2 away goals but unlucky to lose in the game but I believe they will go through together with Inter.

Veron might stay at Inter

Juan Sebastian Veron's agent has revealed that his client may not quit Inter at the end of this season.

The midfielder has regularly stated that his Italian adventure will conclude in the summer for family reasons.

However, the Argentine's representative has now suggested that the 30-year-old may not in fact return to his homeland.

"It is by no means certain that my client will be leaving," Fernando Hidalgo told the Guerin Sportivo magazine.

"In the next few weeks we will be meeting with the club's directors. Everyone is writing that he'll go back to Argentina, but I won't exclude that he could stay."

Ballack rejects Inter option

Inter have missed out on Michael Ballack after his agent today insisted that his client would definitely not be joining the Nerazzurri.

Reports in the peninsula had suggested that the Italian outfit were in fact leading the race for the German, who will leave Bayern Munich on a free transfer in the summer.

But Michael Becker, the midfielder's representative, stated on Thursday that the player is not considering an Inter switch given their lack of success.

"He will definitely not be joining Inter," Becker underlined to the BBC. "Michael would only move to a club where he has a better chance of winning the Champions League than at Bayern.

Inter Milan win 1-0 win over Ajax to complete a 3-2 victory on aggregate with a superb goal by Dejan Stankovic . They will meet Villarreal in Champions League quarter-final.
