QUOTE(Caviar4Supper @ Jul 1 2010, 10:01 PM) Notice that the word/name of the state HARBIN in northeastern china doesnt sound vry CHINESE? cuz Harbin was once a state of the country Manchuria. Manchuria, in Japanese is Manchukuo and it was a puppet state of Japan back then. Manchuria is located at northeastern china which is also southeastern of russia. After the war, russia claimed the top half of Manchuria and china claimed the bottom half of it therefore now you dun see Manchuria on the world map anymore. every new country need to be recognize by other country, in this case, japan recognize manchu as a country, just like malaysia, when indonesia said we bcome brits puppet. |

QUOTE(kenmirzz @ Aug 23 2010, 10:21 AM) Wrong. Mongolian language belongs to the Altaic family, in the same group as Turkic. Mandarin originated from the LiaoNing dialect pioneered by the Manchu ruler. well i told them but they dont believe.... its not surprise, just look at korea, manchu and mandarin, the sounds almost similar, they dont have lots of ching chang chua, like in "chinese"(han)... the have more soft word like shi chul da... like that.... and probably, most of the "chinese"(han) culture like cloth, writing system, are also descended from the manchus |
