i just answered kmarc privately.. but i will still tell why

the reason first picture appear a little blue is because
metaphor: the florescent in the room fires at 100%, at iso800, it absorb more like, due to the fire fires weaker, perhaps (maybe) at 80% (20% weaker then the florescent, or proper term, shorter period, allow the rest of the opening shuttle for the florescent to overwrite the initial flash)
i am now talking bout micro seconds.

at iso200, the flashgun fires stronger (longer period to say) enough to over power the florescent light... hence the prettier WB picture

and for the weird BG(kitchen)... yes, iso200 should have darker kitchen, but its the DRO that kicks in that make it greenish blue ^^.

hahaha
sorry sorry, maybe i used rm100 too high, just dont let it too high price like machine sell one (hehehe tongue.gif Moo) knowing a margin price is good enough.

seriously, dont buy grip for A3 and A5 series, hardly use it, coz u will want to use the Dpad a lot for local AF when shooting portrait orientation, u end up holding on the top again... unlike A7 with more controls.

la la la... i never buy vgrip,... but friend borrow me his since 3 months ago... la la la la... but i hardly use it, coz i always need to access the Dpad, so i hold the top,... and i find it got heavier and bigger to store...

but fun part is, when i go out station, i bring, not for wow factor or some crazy idea... i just wan to put 2 batt inside rather then misplace the 2nd batt... tongue.gif 2 batt will last 1500 shoots
i dont charge it until one finishes. coz i got 2 batt, the other one will always be 100%

from comparing with sal1870 la. smile.gif

@christcly
Sony A550 body only = RM21xx
Sony A550 + 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 DT SAM = RM24xx
Sony A550 + 18-250mm F3.5-6.3 DT = RM40xx

source, first page smile.gif
A550 retail if not wrong is drop to RM2599 from RM2999 (yup)
however the price stated is street price and for reference only.
*
street price range from 2100 to 2199... depending on freebies they going to give u, some people manage to press until 2050 without freebies.. i rather pay 2150+freebie(memcard, etc)

no, the mount were design to able to comminicate with SSM and SAM but sadly, because of rush launching (u guys la, complain complain why so long tongue.gif kidding) then the adapter were never fully developed with firmware on the NEX....

tell him, i brought a old 200-400 lens for only rm900, when i use on my sony, it has SSS, my friend canon user got soo poison with the lens, himself kesi go buy one too, then complain to me, its so hard to shoot without IS. i still have my SSS and loving it!

tell him, 550D same iso as A550(launch earlier), and A550 cheaper, with 7fps, great DRO, and qlv with face detection.

if he say canon has L lens, ask him, how long will it take him to buy a 70-200 F2.8 at 8.7k? sony only 5.5k and still still have SSS!

tell him, not so high end L, how about 135 F1.8? does canon overpriced 135 F1.8 L has IS? tongue.gif

even so canon might has 2 times the amount of lens then sony+minolta... ask him can he afford all? sony covers the most basic need lens...

sony 50 F1.8 is lighter, it wont put stress on the plastic, so no worries.

and the sony 50F1.8 has better coating and more contrasty and nicer color compare to all KM and sony 50mm
