I actually bought the Alpine MSS HID kit for Angel eyes. They are very bright but it's ugly because the light distribution is not even. If we look at F10, the light is bright and is very much equal the whole ring but if we retrofit HID or brighter bulbs, it will be bright but looks very weird. Not to mention that the bloody ballast is also very very hot after a few minutes.

I removed that Alpine MSS kit from my car. If you want I can sell it to you. Literally new, didn't even use for 1 day. I installed and I don't like it at all smile.gif
*
Ah will contact you to check it out first later. Car is now in the workshop getting it's powerkitted fitted.

The difference between the F10 and ours is that ours only use 2 bulbs, one on each light. The F10 uses 4 bulbs hence the even light distribution.

I saw a recond M6 going for 288k 2007 car,This car must have very bad resale value. http://www.mudah.my/BMW+M6+COUPE+5+0+liter...ON-15247307.htm
*
Yeah man, definitely because on the 2nd hand market overseas, the resale values for a lot of top cars is insane!

my cars exterior is not too shabby since i do my best to take care of it(wax etc) but my interior is quite terrible.

my leather is squeaky and some of it has become quite dirty, as its cream leather that's i have not really been taking care of i suppose.

How much roughly would your friend charge for a full detail of a car? unsure.gif

btw you said your interior feels new? why so? laugh.gif

To be frank different car sizes have different prices, best to contact him via his blog and say that Mavik recommended smile.gif

interested the F30 on road - got any problem heard?

smile.gif

so far no people comment F10 got problem. E60 got alot ECU / electronic issue. hopefully not on F10 / F30
*
Actually there has been numerous complaints about the F30, mostly rattling noises and 1 or 2 cases where they had to replace the gearbox. All these can be covered warranty so it shouldn't be much of an issue for you smile.gif

Bloody good price man, should have waited for this. Oh well sad.gif
*
But thats the expected price. Even the previous generation of 3 series were usually priced at this range for the 320i.

No, I didn't expect them to price it around there. Not with the 320d sitting in that price range :/ And the pricing is so close to the FL Audi A4 as well, I'd had expected it to be around 245ish to 250ish, close to the pricing range of the C200. :/

Oh well...
*
The 245k to 250k sounds more for a CBU units. Good price range to fight versus the Audi A4 1.8 and the VW CC.

Test drove the F30 320i today and was thoroughly impressed with the car! This is in comparison to the X3 which I drove for a week as well.

Bro, any idea when is the M-Sport models coming out? The F30 is really attracting me now. tongue.gif
*
No idea man, I have been asking my salesguy as well and he hasn't gotten any clues yet as well. The interesting thing he mentioned that with the new F30 320i, a simple remap and you can achieve the power of a 328i. Time to do a little bit of investigation and checking on that.

I was interested with 320d. any comment  hmm.gif

local diesel dun seem so good. but I saw alot 320d and 520d around  hmm.gif

really need some feedback. thanks alot

Is all 3 series come with brake regeneration  icon_question.gif
*
F30 320d feels a little bare in my opinion, same goes for the 320i. Because with the amount you are paying, I would really expect things like SatNav to be standard, DVD player, etc..etc.. But of course different people have different opinions. The 320d is a fun car to drive, lots of torque and lots of fun. Just that the engine runs out of breath at higher speeds especially at around 200km/h.

No brake regeneration with the 3-series we are currently getting for the 320d and 320i.

QUOTE(zweimmk @ Sep 30 2012, 06:58 PM)
I've heard the same thing as well, you can probably get a lot of info from the sg BMW forums.

AFAIK, the Mercedes C200 and C250 are both using the same engine, they've successfully remapped the C200 to have the same as power as the C250.

If the F30 320i and F30 328i are both also using the same 1.8 turbo twin charged engine type (and I think they both are), then it surely will be possible. The F30 335i is a totally different beast though
*
Its actually the same 2.0 turbo charged engine, with twin scroll and not twin charge (twin charge refers to supercharger and a turbo charger). Although they may have the same engine block, the internals may be different hence the research is needed.

Loan no problem. So now is final decision whether to get the F30 328I sports trim or not

After reading the compilation of problems in BMW club Malaysia, abit worried.

CBU or SKD both have its own problem. wind noise seems be common problem.

Test drive the car and i love the performance. Everything seems ok and i quite like it.
the problem is i have not had any luxury sports sedan b4. thats why i find overall car is really superb.

Knowing those problems, anyone would still get it?
*
Yup I will still get it, I don't believe every car sold here in Malaysia is perfect. Take the good with the bad, and also depending on luck. Personally, with 2 years warranty, go ahead and get it!

3 years warranty.

merc was 2 years back ago when my w204. now 4years..... damn soo tempting....  doh.gif
*
You need to read the fine print.

BS+RI is 3 years or 60,000km (which ever comes first).

Warranty is 2 years. There are some fine prints so best to read it out and check it out

white is nice but quite common nowadays. Not white hard to take care rite?

I like black but previous e46 was black too.

Showroom, the red looks sharp and nice with lighting. But outside under the sun looks dull.
*
Should go for the red, everytime my colleague park next to my car (space grey), his red always stands out a lot more. Both indoors and outdoors!

I thought the 1 series was BMW's best seller?

Just wanted a sporty 2 door so I'd have an excuse not to pick anyone up because they'd hate riding in it.
*
For it's price here you can even get a R8 V8 version recon or even the E92 M3

Give them another year to resolve those issues. Best yet, wait for the M-Sports version

Buying a 2nd hand or a recon will drive my insurance and finance rates up. As for the E92, it's 70k AUD more expensive. Not mention I already have a dual clutch car at home, a stick manual would suit me better.
*
Well there are always manual versions of the M3 available but yeah, didn't realise that you were in Australia. If by all means, go ahead for the 1M then, looks like you already made up your mind on it. biggrin.gif
