QUOTE(Damonzero @ Nov 23 2010, 05:47 PM) Me too prefer E60 but gf complaint the looks outdated have to settle for e90 facelift. The E90 is the better car, and so is the F10. E60 was launched in 2003, and therefore designed before better technology and simulation software was available. Just to illustrate how fast technology has progress over these few years, do you know that a new Honda Jazz supermini scores higher scores in the Euro NCAP crash test vs. the BMW E60? Hard to believe but its true. Anyway to convince her ? any ideas? hehehe Get the F10 over the E60 for sure! |

But I guess the other forum members in Msia could help you out.Added on November 23, 2010, 5:21 pm can i please know about the maintainance cost for 320 e90 in detailed please ? Here in Germany, I accessed the ADAC database (something like AAM in Msia), and for my car it costs me 0.90 EUR/km for a yearly mileage of 10K km. The cost includes, fuel, price amortization, insurance, maintenance, tire wear, etc etc. It's a good starting point which I used to see if I can afford the car. |

It's always nice to have rich parents but nothing beats the sense of achievement of paying for one with one's own money. But gosh darn it I want rich parents too.
But why can't your parents pay for the running costs then? |

Nice, but why parking on yellow line? Is it legal in UK to park like that?
Anyway, my car is showing 20000 km more to the next oil change while previous oil change was 10000 km ago. Is the CBS trustworthy? Or should I go do an oil change at least once a year (some people say advisable)? Car runs fine, oil levels are fine etc, and I don't drive much so not too sure about this fancy algorithms. But then again, I do agree with the system in allowing less service according to driving conditions, saves cost and the environment in the long run. Any experience to share? |

I wouldn't go more than a year without an oil change. btw I suggest the BMW club forums, way more info there.Anyway, my car is showing 20000 km more to the next oil change while previous oil change was 10000 km ago. in malaysia i doubt of the car service.some of us are used or think that every 10k km is the max can run but bmw, audi,vw doesnt think so.
bmw service internal every 25k km even if service the engine oil half of the time about 10k km the "special" idrive is the problem.I doesnt seems to get a shop that can actually service without touching the idrive.they claim dunno how to do,etc.. those who without idrive great no problem. anyone got this solution? service outside every 10k km and still going to Autobavaria 25k km..? any shop willing to change and doesnt give idrive BSh*t |
