QUOTE(hakim_radzuan @ Sep 6 2010, 06:30 PM) yeah i will try to answer avery question regarding bmw...at least you guys got an answer from true bmw driver.. Bro I've heard from a friend that getting a BMW is not wise, because when there's some problem with the "motherboard", even small problem, the whole car can't start... need major repair and cost a lot of money. He says that he rather opt for Mercedes because Mercedes does not have this kinda problem. Is this true? |

QUOTE(sakurakinomoto @ Sep 8 2010, 09:22 AM) I still haven't get my car to be fixed T_T The car costs you RM1k only? Expensive??? I regret buying this car. Very expensive cost me 1k. Problems after problem and hard to be fixed in this area. Not to mention the fuel consumption is extravagant. Probably something broke and it started to drink. Here's the problem. Fuel and temperature meter broke, and probably some indicator lights ![]() Brake electric fail, practically all the brake lights failed. ![]() Don't know what to do. |

Am thinking of getting a 2nd hand 1... oni if i can manage to do the maintenance in a relax manner, won't be too tight on my wallet.
Need some advice from you guys. Still unmarried, has a girlfriend, haven't own my own house yet. What kinda income figure is suitable to own a BMW? For example. a 2nd hand or recond Z4, the old version is good enuf for me. Thanks |

QUOTE(rollover @ Sep 20 2010, 07:12 AM) I was well into the 5-figure income before I went for my first BMW although granted it was brand new. A recond Z4 would be quite a bit cheaper than any new BMW, just hang around the BMW forums before you jump in, way more sifus there. Ok bro noted. Thanks for the comment |

QUOTE(kelvinlym @ Oct 20 2010, 08:00 PM) I wish. Too pricey for me. Insurance will kill me if the price didn't. How much are you getting it for bro?? I'm considering getting 1 too. A 2nd 320i e90 in the region of RM180k sounds fine for me, but a car salesman warned me that owning a 2nd hand beemer is not advisable. IF there's problem with the car, i will very much end up having the car more often in the workshop than actually driving it. Not forgetting the expensive repairing fees... I'm getting a used 2008 330xD sedan. Any comments? |

QUOTE(ronnt88 @ Nov 16 2010, 01:30 PM) hi... i've never driven a TT b4 so i won't comment on the driving experience. But my car is definitely more practical, can still fetch 2 ppl behind... TT can only fetch two dogs or small kids behind I think chicks dig TT more .. dun you think so And my beemer has a 6 potter 2.5ltr engine, sweet engine revving sound churning 218bhp which is ok la.... not too shabby. This car has 50/50 weight distribution hence very stable in corners and it's a Rear Wheel Drive vs the front wheel drive of TT. And best of all, chicks dig it So if u asked me, I'd say E92 anytime... but I'm of course biased |

QUOTE(chuakz @ Nov 17 2010, 08:43 PM) I think TT more of a ladies car...like SLK...3 series is more manly..but...it tends to make me feel sleepy when I look at it...just too boring aesthetically...in fact most new beemers are boring to look at...I prefer the E30s, E34, E38, E39 and some other older models Waaaaaa old models |
