They have it on Waggymeal.com too.http://waggymeal.com/collections/happy-dog
Think the price is also slightly cheaper than the store nearby.

QUOTE(lionelchia @ Oct 21 2014, 03:16 PM) Very nice of you to adopt! Hi do you mind letting me know where you purchase your kibbles ?I used to feed my dog with nutriedge, chicken then moved to salmon and rice. My dog get bored with it very fast, maybe not that fragrant. They will still eat if i sit there supervise, but takes long time. Sometimes, adding some water to the kibbles help, not flooding it. I've tried Taste of the Wild/Blackwood/Meradog/Solid gold/Profine also, but expensive kibble doesn't always pose better outcome. Now i've changed to lower quality food, Maximus, due to budget issue also, but i give fish oil and sometimes carrot/cucumber to my dog. My dog poop ok and not yet bored with it. I used to be obsessed with reading kibbles review online, trust me, the more you read, the more your head spins. Just get some idea reading kibble beg ingredient and try it. Nutriedge chicken i get 15kg for Rm180 Salmon & rice 15kg i think he quoted me Rm210 Maximus chicken 23kg RM140 Good luck trying out all the brands that fits you budget, too many brands out there. Do note switching too frequent will upset their digestion system, do it gradually always. As i recall, nutriedge is not grain-free, just hollistics. There's a lot of discussion whether grain-free is the answer for quality food (my dog can't take grain-free, diarrhea, haha). Well, it's always better to judge by looking at your own dog, their fur, /poop/growth and etc. |

Dear all,
Recently I come across BARF (Bone and Raw Food) for dogs and I am wondering how effective and acceptable to local dog lover. I am doing survey on this to study the pros and cons on BARF. If I may ask, 1. Do you give BARF to your dog? why yes? why no? 2. How much you spend on your dog's meal per day? 3. If there is a shop providing BARF ( including different menu for seven days and free delivery with small fee),specialist to prepare menu to suit your dog nutrient needs. What do you think about it? Appreciate to share your view. Below are the summary of pros and cons for BARF:- PRO •better digestion – natural raw food passes through easier •healthier coats and skin •increased energy levels •improved disposition •fresher breath •cleaner teeth and gums – chewing bones helps this process •weight control – no fatty grains •very low in carbohydrates – which often cause food allergies and digestive issues •no chemicals, preservatives, sweeteners, fillers and additives CONS •benefits aren’t proven; they’re anecdotal •raw meat can contain harmful bacteria – including E. coli and salmonella •airway obstruction and choking – uncooked bones are still dangerous •bowel obstruction and intestinal perforations – again, uncooked bones, when swallowed, can be a huge problem •inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract •severe diarrhea •time-intensive – besides staying vigilant to avoid having their pets swallow potentially-harmful bones, proponents often talk about the trial-and-error nature of raw food and how they have to change it up and add supplements like fish oil •more expensive |

QUOTE(MoneyMaker prince @ Mar 23 2015, 06:24 PM) Dear all, Hi money maker prince, i have local dogs too, i think they have accustomed to cooked food rather than raw food because they have not been staying in the wild and no longer do hunting for raw food... i always think cooked food is at least safer because even human sources of food are prone to food poisoning. Been giving Fish4Dogs as main food for almost 2 years. I noticed that with this brand, my dog has lesser tear stains compared to other brand.
As for dog treats, usually made them myself now. Cheaper and healthier! |

QUOTE(Hitammetalic @ Apr 30 2015, 04:17 PM) chicken feet rm3.5/kg, get cheap beef cuts, chicken breast etc all cheap. If all use 1 kg which cost around RM20 can last 1 week if feed twice daily But if you buy in wet market there is a possibility of bacteria infection due to the way they handling the meat which is harmful to your dog. Unless you bought those fresh meat imported which is costly. |
