i just back from perhentian island besar.
Stayed at perhentian island resort.

my advise, dun spend much on the accommodation, as u can stay in one place, and walk to another beach, or take water taxi.

Perhentian Island resort is nice, Tuna Bay is more expensive,
if u wan decent, yet affordable, u can try Coral View, just right beside Perhentian Island resort.

The cheapest one was camp site, RM10 per night, camp provided, there are also food stalls beside the camp site, so no problem.

Things to play at Perhentian :

Snorkeling, Diving, and Canoeing (RM30 whole day)..

I canoe and round the whole Perhentian Island Besar, took me 5 hours,
and canoe from Besar to Kecil, around 5mins at max speed.

and dun forget to bring few SUNSCREEN LOTION.. get the high SPF one, 50 or more.

which resort / hotel in Redang / Perhentian Besar / Kecil have nice swimming pool and aircond room ? looking for mid-range type hotel.
