the resort im stayin is at redang lagoon... they outsource to sumone else that charges rm25 per head per way...thats too expensive..

lookin for sumone else who can provide me lesser..

book the accomodation via agent.. agent pass me a contact to call a cab driver..wat cab driver offer me is rm25 per head from airport to merang jetty onli..

so anyone else have any other contacts that is cheaper...coz im lookin at 1 way onli...

nope..redang lagoon is the cheapest..u can get full board for rm280 3d 2n per person..i stayed there 5d 4n..hehehe...but not recomended coz its damn budget chalet

Added on April 10, 2007, 6:58 pmgo 2 jetty shahbandar, there's a market near there that u can get all kinds of surveniour.if im not mistaken, its called pasar payang..

if u r thick skin enuf, go to berjaya jetty n ask them whether u can rest there for few hrs due to ur flight soo late..i did that coz i juz came back from redang yesterday..flight so damn late plus the stupid speed boat driver drive like crazy made me all drenched like as though i swam back!!!

if u want contact for taxi transportation or even tour, ask me..met few nice pakcik there..they can provide ground arrangements n they be on time.

Added on April 10, 2007, 7:11 pmyou can go to redang reef to see the blue sand but be carefull..get ur resort staff 2 brin u there coz its damn dark n the waves r strong at nite..go to the main beach of redang reef to see..the blue sand onli comes out when the place is pitch black.damn scary but the sand is damn beautiful..

you can also lepak at redang beach pub at nite...every alternate nite there's a beach party. or go play pool at redang bay

sunrise u can go infront of redang bay at 6.45am..u can even climb the mountain infront of redang lagoon..

taxi transportation at KT izit? thought u rent resort, they provided... heard frm my frens tat booked...provided dy...

About da blue sand?? will da resort staff bring us go or not? got extra charge?? dangerous or not when wana go there??

how's da beach party?? nice? btw.... da drinking (liquor) over there, expensive?? hear tat there no ATM machine wor...

some resort do provide ground arrangement n sum dont..so find out in advanced b4 goin coz when arrive by flight, to go merang jetty might take 45mins..after late, ur ferry leave u..find out all arrangements wit ur agent b4 goin there.

blue sand!! u got to mix around wit the locals there...not many visitors knoe bout it..there's 1 place jus after the bridge infront of the divers place at redang reef..there's safe..1 more sumwhr further..dont noe how to describe.i doubt they will charge u go see blue sand but its not alwiz u get to see...its like seein a shootin star..

im not sure bout atm machine..juz brin extra cash...beers are rm8.50 carlberg n tiger can...others didnt bother buyin..bottle liquor shud be the same as clubs in kl..u can see lots of kids dancin at the beach party..ahhaha...

beach shorts there are cheap n price at rm29 onli..
the ice cream cone at redang beach is onli rm1.60..the ramly burger there is nice n cheap..i find the water there taste funny!!

dont be a hero n not use sun block..the heat will burn u for sum!! n if u cant swim, dont go so deep in the sea..there was a guy stayin at laguna who got pulled by the current..luckily the locals saved him...im not scarin u but warnin u!!

brin sea sick pills for 1st timers..loads of sun block or tannin oil..eheheh..shades..cotton bud..
btw, things there r not really expensive..juz few cents more than kl

u stayin at redang bay izit?? how many to a room?? if poss, snap sum picts inside the room..doin a research now..when i was there, redang bay n beach staff were super unfriendly..i juz want to see the room so i can plan my next trip.. i went to laguna, the dude took me a whole tour of laguna..damn friendly..if u can afford it,, laguna is the place..coral beach is a bit far from entertaintment but nice though

snorkelin, u wud have a life jacket on..juz dont panic..remember brin loads of bread coz the fish all spoiled edy..
if im not mistaken, redang beach jetty is at shahbandar..juz get a motel there n spend sum time..confirm u can get a room less then rm100..
if not tired, u can take a boat for rm0.80 to kampung nelayan to waste more time.

if brin bread, the fish will come to u..im not sure whether ur resort provides but there's a shop at redang bay that sells bread for fish at rm1.00...if not, gasak bread from ur resort durin breakfast time.ahahahh

most probably the boat will use laguna's jetty..

i ddint brin any long pants..the whole time use beach shorts n slippers..

when i went to kt from kl, my flight thru n fro was rm82 with Airasia..

u can also ask the boats man to throw a rope thats tied to the boat..so if u float away, u can pull the rope to get back to the boat..juz be calm n happy snorkelin
