take how long is syahbandar jetty to laguna and berjaya? is the ferry service so frequent?

my trip has last minute changes. now i'm force to use the Merang Jetty. Last time from airport to Shahbandar Jetty is RM25 per taxi and takes 15 to 25 min.
Now I'm force to used Merang Jetty, how much is per taxi?, how long from air-port to Merang Jetty and Merang Jetty to Laguna Resorts? |

what happen to redang island after oct? no one will be on island? if resort close, what happen to the staff there? paid holiday?
