Activision is still being cagey about what the next Call of Duty game will be all about but today the publisher decided to reveal the name of their next shooter title in the series. As was rumored a while back the game will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops. Developed by Treyarch the game will be released on November 9.

The official press release is still not announcing the game's setting (although online reports claim it will be a Vietnam War-era title). There's also no word if Treyarch will put in a zombie mode as they did for their last game Call of Duty: World at War. Remember the first teaser trailer is scheduled to be shown on Spike's GameTrailers TV show later tonight

yeah, looking at the past cod games made by Treyarch, cod3 and waw. They wren't as good as IW at game quality and storyline, WaW was a complete cod4 rip-off with different skins.

I might buy it since I'm collecting cod series. But if it turns out to be a real let down, ofc I'm gonna get it from different sauces

Hopefully it has dedicated servers,though.

I might get it just for the different setting that the game is on which could give a different experience.
