Myvi Suspension And Spring

Hi sifu,
I not sure this question already out or not but i did search regarding myvi suspension and abs..
my Setup :-
- 16 inch rim - 45 Series tyre - Standard OEM Perodua ABS ( i think is apm rite) 2005 model - spring is Lowered Version Gab - im using stopper at the back to prevent back tyre 'kena' when 4 ppl inside my car.
the problem :-
- for sure very bumpy and not really comfortable for back ppl. - my mom start bising already, my myvi macam no absorber at all. "keras" she say if she sit behind - eventhough stylo. i also feel abit dizzy if riding too long
solution :-
-planning to change all 4 oem abs to (sachs abs, lyn quote for me RM 350 for 4 pcs) - do i need to change the spring as well. i wan get back the comfort feeling. but try dont want sacrifice my lowered style.. - any opinion or suggestion for me. really "*ss pain already" haha

nothing beats stock suspension for comfort...
so go for stock and potong spring if u really wanna lower. though i dont really advise on potong sprin.
also try to go for higher profile tires.

like that Madman says... ntg beats original suspension for comfort.. for springs, u might try Eibach.. it is the most recommended springs by all Myvi low-rider... so far the most comfortable 1 (but still stiffer than OEM's)

btw, how to know is it my abs still in good condition? check got leaking or not is it?

no problem bro... from what i can see, swapping back will not reduce the problem of banging ur fender.. cause the rim offset is wrong... with the correct rim offset,u wouldnt hit the fender with lowered springs.. there's few ways of solving the problem 1) since u r matching a lowered spring to OEM abs.. the compression rates are different.. so dun expect both to work in harmony.. trial and error with diff abs n springs.. 2) swap to a higher profile tire.. 3) go back to OEM.. haha next time keep all the ori stuff.. last time when i demod my car, one stupid saga air filter box cost me rm150.. thx to my ignorance back then.. guessing tyre is 205/45/16 ?
i use this tyre size too back when i use 16 inch rims ... and lowered and everything .... not comfortable at all. haha.
first i change to tyre size 195/50/16 ... can feel a bit comfort ....
but still my mom complain ... so change all to stock spring .. no more complain .. haha .. but roll like hell in corner ... roll can slow down .. my mom non stop complain cannot take one .... haha.

if you wanted to maintain your lowered spring as your thought for lowering it,get a good short-stroke absorber.
DONT GET SACHS.AS SACHS DONT PRODUCE SHORT STROKE.ITS IDLE ONLY FOR OEM SPRING.
Overall,your ride will become stable and wont be comfort.In term,you can get good handling together with comfort.Either one you have to sacrifice.

Aiya, I didn't know change to 195/50 can be better~~~ I changed Rims totally to 15. I'm using Sachs for my OEM spring now, satisfied. But don't think it is really meant for lowered spring la...will not function as it should be...

Getting Started

Best set up for me currently for ride comfort and performance now is :
1)eibach pro kit springs (bought back in 2007 - previously paired with oem absorber) 2)paired with sachs super touring absorbers (just bought last week from kobe10) 3)running on oem SE09 rims with continental comfort contact tyres (locally made)
Height is just nice and comfort is good, cornering is confident and controlled. And rebound rate is not to harsh like Tein or Gab Springs. Many of my friends tried that and finally switch to eibach springs.
Sit 4 adults or transporting heavy goods without worrying back tyre hitting mud guard.

okay in that case. the solution is :-
get eibach and pair it with oem absor
get back original spring and pair back with oem abs?
short stroke abs such as?

er... i think best is get a set where you can have a lil more comfort and change the tire to 195/55 R15 get Falken 912, Hankook V12 or others entry level tires like Yokohama A Drive or Dunlop D-01..
BTW Myvi 14" user skip Conti CC1 by all means... it has a problem which we call it bi-lateral offset for the tire which cost you hard to get a good balancing, and slight bumpy feeling (like bulged tire side wall)... i got 1 set on my old toy which weight about 1.3 tonne++ used about 6 months had this problem already... regret should have stick to Michelin XM1 or Falken 912

if im change to 15 series. is it the perfect choice? the last time 1 shop in sungai buloh got tell me that falken 912 is good choice for me too.
hmm how about,
change to 15 get 195/55/15 (falken 912) oem spring oem abs
is it i can get back the smoothness for back passenger seat?

that will works if you want comfort but of course u need to need to drive a bit more carefully...
