My experience, ernie ball super slinky is no no for me, bcoz within a week can rust already. About 2 years i stayed with ernie ball brand, and finally discover about d'addario.

d'addario, last longer at least for a month before, can see rust signs, and "I" strongly feel d'addario tone > ernie ball , especially when bending. And string snap quite often witn ernie ball, i can say out of 10 string snaps, 8 from ernie and 2 from d'addario.

factors;
1. sweaty palm, fingers
2. how u maintain ur guitar, do you wipe ur guitar each time after play?
3. humidity (whatsupbro)?? certainly yes, try leave ur guitar in an air conditioned room, see what happens.
4. once a week i apply string cleaners
5. is rust different from dust? i think so.....
6. each time after play do you keep guitar in bag/case or leave it on guitar stand.
7. are you the only person who play the guitar??
