Living in Sg. Long is great if you like country style and quiet night life.

There is no free lunch unless you want to risk your life for Rm1 toll....like some idiots who turn up at the one way ramp near the Petronas Station.

If you are a malay, you pay only Rm300k plus for a nice unit at Desa Budiman...

It.fusion...what is so good about Sg. Long? Not scared of jams both ways? The toll free exit at Mahkota Cheras is now crazy. Jam almost everyday till the row of shops or even to the traffic lights near Jusco.

If you drive out through Sg. Long old way, you will still get jammed at the Petronas Station junction.

Better to stay at Cheras Selatan.

So, now it will only be paying one way...like those on Silk toll. Good to save 50% toll daily. Hope they wont increase other taxes to compensate for the toll.

Congrats! My friends, who are staying at the bungalows surrounding the golf course, complain that the way out of Sg. Long is quite bad, sometimes take up to 20 mins. Is that true?

QUOTE(roger roger @ Mar 20 2012, 05:31 PM)
no rushing for sub sale or 2nd hand property, nowaday there are a lot of niche auction unit also. They day i noticed a semi d D/S 40 x 80 behind jade hill auction for the 3rd times at 277k oni which included fully renovation also. Oni set back is near the heavy industry zone (tanming jaya) and poorly managed kajang country heights bungalow plot. No kidding, u can google taman puncak utama semi d auction. I believe kajang area a lot tis type of hidden gems

This should be the semid way after Gita Bayu area. It is at the end of the road next to the railway tracks. You can see Country Heights opposite.

That taman was developed by Suntrack of Summerglades. Many foreign labourers are renting the houses around there. I dont think you will want to stay there unless it is for investment. Taming jaya industrial is the least of your worries.

Bukit Belimbing is a real deal though.

Where is this place? Which part of Sg. Long? I hardly venture inside Sg. Long, so I am not familar. Is it near Desa Budiman area?

I saw similar steep/rocky hills just behind the Bukit Mandarina Villa 33 semids. No complaints from buyers so far.

Just for discussion sake. isnt rock hill stronger than muddy hill? If the hill is a solid rock, isnt it safer than a hill of loose earth?

It looks like a few kilometer away from TP bungalows, you could hardly see it.

Wira Heights 2 all sold out? What type of houses? Price?

Where is the access? Go through Sg. Long main road? Gonna add to the jams already there.

Added on March 25, 2012, 7:02 amAnyone knows what is the development opposite Bukit Sg. Long? I saw the hill completely bald now and tractors are clearing all the shrubs away....

Added on March 25, 2012, 7:08 amWhere is Wira Heights site? Is it the one just off the Silk Highway, you can see just before you turn into Bandar Sg. Long?

Ok. I just saw Wira Heights II yesterday. Yes, a few metres away from the bungalows lot. All the time I didnt know what it was cos we could only see a few houses through the valley.

The hill opposite Bandar Sg Long .... same side as Taman Rakan/TP semid/terrace, just after the rows of link houses on Tropika on the silk highway. Is that hill clearing for Tropicana Cheras? You can see the bald hill on your right if you are driving towards Semenyih.

If you are driving towards Bandar Sg. Long, there is another land that is just cleared and flatten, beside Silk....just before SL 13. What project is that?

Added on March 26, 2012, 7:08 amWould exit be the same as others, joining the exodus from BSL in the morning? Are they planning another road? Way too jammed now and will worsen when more students come in.

If all the cars divert and U turn outside Twin Palms, the tunnel would be jammed packed everyday. I don't think there will be a road from Wira Ii to Twin Palm Bungalows unless all the land in between belongs to the same developer.

Added on April 1, 2012, 2:02 pmIs there a new mall opening in C180? Saw board renting out retail space...

TP will still be exclusive in its own right. Do you mean if other cars pass by outside your taman, your taman will not be exclusive? Taming Pearls, most of Sg. Long bungalows' residents need to squeeze through the jams everyday, so do Puchong folks.

Added on April 18, 2012, 5:17 amMahkota cheras exit would be really jam once Mahkota Residence is occupied.

That is why I didnt buy Bandar Sg. Long houses.

Location wise, compared with Puchong is not that great, we are in 2nd tier.

It is a suburb community.

Yes, but we dont use the road leading into Bandar Sg. Long, just in Sg. Long area. Our road leads directly to highway. We pay for the convenience and dont have to burn fuel waiting at 2 to 3 traffic lights.
