Sg Long in fact pretty well known, it is also unique because the following factors:

-the only Red Bricks Township in Malaysia
-Sg Long Golf Club is the only golf club in Malaysia that endorsed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus
-going to be the only campus for UTAR in Klang Valley

Anyway no point to be like who and who no matter human or township just be yourself.

Any news of the progress of SRJK © Sg Long ?

I notice that road in front and inside the school has stopped work for few months. Will this school start operation next year? this is important as it will ease the traffic in the morning and help in our property appreciation.

Both BSL & BMC residents have donated in the first round of fund raising, millions of ringgit has raised last year.
How much more still required? I think residents won't mind to donate again or the school building committee should approach SHL, Taming, Wira Cheras, Kihuat, Lion or whoever developers in BMC & BSL for donation.

One third of SRJK © Batu 11 students come from BSL & BMC, with SRJK © Sg Long open Batu 11 has more space for Balakong/Cheras Batu 11 students. Anyway new school normally open for standard 1 to 3 for initial intake, the full effect on traffic only take place after few years.

if sp setia is the major developer for sg long +mahkota...it will be evn more succesful compare to current as sp setia is good in township planning and well take care on the infrastructure and landscape at public area...

Developer does matter --Gamuda paid for SRJK © Kota Kemuning, but how much developer in BSL & BMC has contributed to SRJK © Sg Long?

The only huge land available is Sg Long Golf Club - 160 acres...however don't think SHL will do anything yet, they concentrate on Goodview Heights (Sg Long South).

Yup agree, as I said earlier we need traffic interchange that enable direct connection to Silk Highway otherwise no way Sg Long can be another Setia Alam, fengshui say the ji (energy) cannot go in and out smoothly where got ong..

Traffic light No 2 not applicable to Sg Long residents unless you want to turn into BMC while traffic light No 5 mostly not applicable as green light before bridge long enough to let you go through without waiting.

Even though there are many traffic lights, it took me about 33 minutes from Petronas Sg Long (6.57am) to Desa Sri Hartamas (7.30am) today, the traffic is surprising acceptable.

The jam inside Sg Long is acceptable even during peak hour, this is East-West Link & Federal Highway that slow us down if we want to go to PJ.

Yesterday after work, after the shell station want to turn into the MBB there, the traffic light is crazy due to pasar malam. Then on every thurs (if not mistaken), can try to avoid turning into the shop houses there too. The parents sending their children to the tuition center is the king of the road!

May be it is due to the greenery environment in Sg Long, we also need to give credit to SHL for maintaining the greenery/county feel.

I not sure about other phase, but for PalmWalk we have Linear Garden (two children playgrounds, walking pathway with palm trees) and two big fields with pathway, rough estimate at least 30% of space have been allocated for greenery environment. I really enjoy the evening walk inside Palm Walk.

On and off I also go for morning walk in Bukit Enggang just next to Palmwalk to enjoy fresh air...not many place you can enjoy such facility given that I only pay RM200K++ for the house.

SP Setia is a township developer while SHL only a housing developer, two different category.
Anyway apart from SP Setia and Ecoworld, which developer in your mind qualify as township developer?

You got the point, easy to get authority approval...Kihuat, the developer for Bukit Sg Long request to connect its access road to Silk Highway being rejected because Kihuat not GLC, same go to Lion for BMC access road to Grand Saga Highway.
