The main issue is item 1, not so much of item 2.

To make a U turn, no other bigger construction is needed, it's a cheap way out.

I think the proper solution is to build a interchange to join SILK without needing a U-turn. This will be a much more expensive solution. Funding will then be an issue.

That's a U-turn along highway I suppose, not interchange lah.

Where to put in the U-turn, straight infront before the sungai long toll that near to twin palm?

Interchange definately out of reach, I only hope access road from Silk to Bukit Sg Long is allowed (from Balakong direction) , at least it ease the jam when entering Sg Long.

From Semenyih Lekas exit to Sungai Long also about 15 minutes, even during peak period..

Lol, take u-turn in twin palm loh, not that jam to reach balakong gua.. 

Rm 1 saje... petrol for jamming also more than that already...

Oh it's like this :-

There is already a slip road exit from SILK to sg long. So this new access the initial part runs parallel with it, taking traffic from sg long (to enter SILK), but instead of going forward to join SILK, it goes back and U-turn back to join SILK.

Lol... can be done, but the curvature of the road need to be altered, as something similar in twin palm, from my perception, not cheap though..

The root question still unsolved, who are going to pay?   

As long as got people pay for the construction and compensation, many ways can be attempted...

As I mention, Silk is elevated if not mistaken, any connecting road in this area must be jacked up also, just like a flyover, building cost don't think cheap...

Ah ha... if the residents willing to pay, I think got chance also geh...

Construct a flyover and put toll booths there, new project for Silk, sure they will consider I presume..

As like the Serdang-MEX interchange, RM 2.20 per car woh, siapa tak mahu...   

Why worry? I though you go out at 6am should be no traffic jam at all.

With another few thousand students from UTAR PJ and UTAR Setapak move to Sg Long next year onward, I forsee traffic jam will be big headache for residents ....Sg Long badly next additional enter-exit point to highway.

I remember Forest Green launching price around RM100k+, rental RM800 per month means 9.6% return per annum..not bad.
