Bare foot has been proven for bigger lifts like deadlift/squat.
Or go get ChuckTaylors/Converse, best for lifts. Dont lift with gel filled soles e.g. running shoes. Only use those for running lah.

Got 305lbs x 1 with straps today biggrin.gifD (No hitching)
315 here i come!

Anyone know any accessory exercises that help you get off the floor during the deadlift (the first phase of the deadlift)? That's the part i have trouble with.

Around 130lbs/58-59kg.
For 305 i was wearing a belt. But when i did 295 for 3 reps i didnt realize i didnt have belt on until i was finished with the set xD

1k club is when you have a total of 1000lbs on the three major lifts, bench/squat/deadlift. People usually have like 250,350,400lbs on the lifts respectively.
It's only my deadlift thats good. My bench and squat has been stuck FOREVER.
I think it's time to get off of Rippetoe's SS.

I agree, maybe a tad bit lower would make it parallel.
Dislocate at the hips first before you dislocate at the knees (just like you're sitting in a chair).
Can't tell from the angle, but don't let your knees buckle in. Push out with them if you go heavy.

Does anyone know a good 3-day split? Planning to change programs soon.

I love mixed grip happy.gif Makes gripping stuff so much easier.
I havent tried hook grip though, scared my thumb might hurt if i use too much weight.
