Hi i understand that we should not train our biceps and triceps more than 1 or 2 a week so to enable it to grow big
however i do notice that when we do lifting such as chest press etc unavoidably we will use the muscle groups ard biceps and triceps. is it ok is cases lik dat? |

QUOTE(andrewng14 @ Aug 4 2010, 05:14 PM) correct me if im wrong, but as long you let your biceps/triceps to have proper recovery before your next workout of the same muscle group, I think its alright. the word "recover" is rather vague. i tot we are not supposed to train it... otherwise how to determine is it has recovered? |

QUOTE(-Dan @ Aug 4 2010, 06:47 PM) My bad, misread your post. wow i wana try the pumping feelingIt depends on the individual, really. Some people respond better to regular curls while others get good gains doing 21s. But one thing's for sure, you'll get an amazing pump from doing 21s. Dan, mind clarify the following for me? cheers QUOTE Hi i understand that we should not train our biceps and triceps more than 1 or 2 a week so to enable it to grow big however i do notice that when we do lifting such as chest press etc unavoidably we will use the muscle groups ard biceps and triceps. is it ok is cases lik dat? |

QUOTE(yeah_guyz @ Aug 4 2010, 07:35 PM) de.crystal thanks yeahsometime i think you are just too "worry" about your training. for your moment just train hard with compound and some isolation. don't be too ... with the minor thingy, at least not now i reckon that i am too worrying abt my work out... as i hope i am in the right track and can see result and not jz work out and see nothing at the end of the day. |

QUOTE(John91 @ Aug 5 2010, 10:29 AM) Personally I think 21's are overkill. You'll prolly use a weight that's too light for arm growth, but maybe my biceps are just weak. I rather stick to heavier weight and go 8-10 reps. Better form that way too. if your biceps are weak, i cant imagine what word to be used to describe mine |

QUOTE(John91 @ Aug 5 2010, 12:14 PM) I would say that as a bodybuilder I care more bout aesthetic values than strength and yes its very true that a lot of my lifts are weaker than the average trainee that has been training for the same time as I have. Serious shit. regardless, you still have a huge body and am envious. due to that, i always imagine me having a built body when i am about to give up while working out, tho sometimes, will give up but is better than last time |

1. hi there, tried training my biceps yday using bar, i did not know why i used the muscle group ard my back bone (near to waist) unconciously. I felt it as i injured the same part before.
2. I just cant do the deadlifting properly, i wil hunch my back and if i were to do "chest up" again unconciouly i would use the sam muscle group as (1) above. any idea why is that so? |

QUOTE(jamis @ Oct 6 2010, 08:26 AM) ans for 2: may be he/she wants u to focus on ur form first? coz some oth members that are new to weight might be too ego and go so far that they never realize their form is actually went banana. according to him, which i observed yesterday, heavier weight and resistance for bigger muscle group and lighter weight for smaller muscle group.is it alright for me to Mon and Wed -weight lifting (heavier weight used) ; Tues and Thurs (body pump)-lighter weight used (to loose fat and become tonner This post has been edited by de.crystal: Oct 6 2010, 11:28 AM |
