4670 just and entry graphic card . lower ur graphic setting . disable shadow . etc will imporve the performance .

for better performance

use . HD 4850 above or GTs 250 above.

I think you need more ram... WoW is extremely memory hungry I can have my processor usage at 30++ % and still lag like hell with 2GB ram... not to mention that you're using Vista...

WoW is a memory and proc hoggers, they love huge amount of rams and proc L3 cache.

It's not the RAM or your graphics card.

Your processor is too slow.

5670 performance is somewhere near 4770, so no.... 5670 is better than 4670, not the other way around.

i am running a hd 3870, and i have no probs with gfx..but.. i do reduce it .. you have to.. you can't max it unless you have a super card like 4850 or above i think.

updated mine from 9550 to 3650 and average fp is roughly 50+ and 20+ in lag-laran.

it's your setting mang... try lower the resolution to gain 30%-40% fp

WoW doesn't use the extra cores in i5, so you essentially have a slower main proc unless you OC.

An OCed dual-core will give better bang for buck in this game.

the last few patch have WoW ultilizing quads natively by default.

prior to that patch, you need to manually check affinity for the remaining cores other than 0 and 1 (your 1st and 2nd dual core, basically)
less work on task manager > wow.exe > affinity > check 2 cores > ok tongue.gif

so yeah, WoW does ultilizes quad cores, any more, i wouldnt know since i run on quad only
