1- im using window xp (sp1). so im not running any firewall.
2- no anti virus was install in my PC.
3- what do u mean "not to connect to KAD"? i use to click "connect" on the upper left icon or manually on the server list i select.
4- yes, b4 this im using .47a (what is a very CD mod)?
5- using defult server list, configure dl50/ul16, disable both update serverlist when connected to server/client, enable PO.

8- any other advise? izzit becouse of my window sp1 or my rounter? is there anything to do with my rounter firewall (never set anything in rounter firewall b4)?

Try disabling KAD, meaning do NOT allow KAD to connect at all.
It should not be SP1's fault, as i am also using SP1 and i am running without any firewall at all.
How about getting the latest eMule version, which is v0.47c ? Unless you're planning to get some modded version, i have no experience in those.

I set both my TCP and UDP port using the same port which is port 6992 instead of using two different ports for them respectively.





I am on HighID, despite of that, my download speed isn't too good. Maybe because i was downloading rare files. And super popular files at the moment to test eMule ?
No need for ed2k links, just some *hints* will do and i'll search it up.

what i see inside my KAD page is just empty.

if i change my TPC/UDP port to 6992, do i have to do the same thing on my port forwarding also?

.. Nvm, we try other way. Download "emule0.47c Xtreme 5.4 binaries" from here,

Extract it to desktop (or anywhere u like), after that click on emule.exe, the first runtime wizard will pop out, just click next till the end. After that, no need to port forward or any settings, just straight click on connect, to see what shows in the log.

EDIT: You can try what IntegraTypeR tell you first.

From the first picture, you can use the Server tab to check whether your KAD is connected or not.

You can make sure it stays disabled by using the Option tab and uncheck the KAD box.

So your problem remains being unable to connect to server because the server is "full" ?

I don't think DonkeyServer No.1-5 will be full that easily. I am a regular and experienced eMule user but i did a complete uninstall when i reinstall the newest version. I didn't change much settings, close to nothing at all. Not sure why your problem persist. I apologize for being unable to sort out and solve your problem.

Lets hope playsafe69 can nail the problem out for you.

Nope, it will not.
What i mean is to extract it to a different directory, probably desktop.. don't interfere with the existing eMule.

EDIT: Just try to download, finished within 2 minutes. Something wrong with your connection ar?

got it.....but still downloading. damn slow. izzit something to do with my 512 speed? keke

finish download. do as what u said.
1- unzip file.
2- click emule.exe file
3- click next all the way (ignore TCP/UDP and port forwarding setting) unstill finish.
4- click connect.
5- samething happen


but if i change the TCP/UDP same as port forwarding, i got this: (lowid)

any advice?

m.. OK. Now try download d attachment: bignodes.doc, rename it to nodes.dat, and put it into Xtreme>config folder (before doing this, make sure you close your eMule). Goto KAD, choose "from known client", and click bootstrap.

but in tranfer side is always red only . im not sure izzit maybe my file is not popular.

speed is round 8KB/s (anything i can do to improve the speed? setting is dl96KB/s & ul16KB/s) with streamyx 512.

Hmm, your graph output is almost the same as mine. I think they are shaping heavily in both our areas. Your upload doesn't seem to be moving and there a sharp drop in the middle so something is still up with your settings. What are your setting for up and down?

Ahh, the update looks better now. Unfortunately the download speed now cannot reach above 20 kbps Let's all hope this is due to the earth quake and not some new throttling done by TMNuts.

Arrrggghhhhh!!! I do follow all the step "playsafe69" instructed "myliew" to solve the connection, but still i having hard time to connect the server. May i know anybody else have the same prob beside me. Juz hope this is temp.
