My best so far was 80+ kB/per sec while downloading together with BitComet operating along side it. It never went beyond 90+ because BitComet took some of the speed away. I am using StreamyX's 1mBit service.

Hmm, i do not get speed as such frequently. It depends on the number of people sharing the file and their bandwidth as well. I do noticed that i can only get such speed over the same from the same user that is uploading to me. Sometimes i do not get any dl speed at all.

I tried NeoMule, but not much difference. Uploading still sucked while downloading, do i need to mention more ?

Any other tweaking to boost eMule ?

Protocol Encryption(ISP Traversal) in Neo or Sion mule only works, when both side have this function on. That mean, if a official mule or mods that doesn't support this protocol, we could hardly get anything from them.. As u(we) can see, now eMule just fill with 0KB or probably dropped UL/DL. So, this is why I ask u guys to download the testfile, n see how ISP Traversal going on..

Tried a testfile, i got a 11-15kb/sec stable download speed.
Kinda sad now, just when i got back my Streamyx after 5 months without it, so many things had happened. So much to download but eMule doesn't operate like it did 5 months ago.

Hmm, i see improvement in eMule, both mod and the official client.

Hopefully, improvement would be as good as Bittorrent with Protocol Encryption to bypass TMnut traffic shaping.

Without eMule, can't download Asian media files.

It seems eMule with OB is working better without enabling KAD network, for my case.

Not much settings are required. Basically, you have to port forward and enable Protocol Obfuscation.

And then, wait in the queue.

Funny, my upload pipe isn't being utilized. TMnet caught us and our OB ?
My download pipe is still okay, although being shared with a torrent client.
I set upload limits for both eMule and my torrent client, therefore it shouldn't clash.

Other users of eMule, anyone having strange low upload problems ?

Try disabling KAD, meaning do NOT allow KAD to connect at all.
It should not be SP1's fault, as i am also using SP1 and i am running without any firewall at all.
How about getting the latest eMule version, which is v0.47c ? Unless you're planning to get some modded version, i have no experience in those.

I set both my TCP and UDP port using the same port which is port 6992 instead of using two different ports for them respectively.





I am on HighID, despite of that, my download speed isn't too good. Maybe because i was downloading rare files. And super popular files at the moment to test eMule ?
No need for ed2k links, just some *hints* will do and i'll search it up.

From the first picture, you can use the Server tab to check whether your KAD is connected or not.

You can make sure it stays disabled by using the Option tab and uncheck the KAD box.

So your problem remains being unable to connect to server because the server is "full" ?

I don't think DonkeyServer No.1-5 will be full that easily. I am a regular and experienced eMule user but i did a complete uninstall when i reinstall the newest version. I didn't change much settings, close to nothing at all. Not sure why your problem persist. I apologize for being unable to sort out and solve your problem. unsure.gif

Lets hope playsafe69 can nail the problem out for you.

Nope, must be something wrong over at your end.

Connected to DonkeyServer No.2 in just a few seconds.

DonkeyServer No. 1 and 2 are working, i just tested both of them. DonkeyServer No.2 is kinda full though, number of users are 898,999 out of 900,000.

Yeah, speed isn't too good. Averaging about 50kB/s only. Sometimes lower at about 20kB/s.

v0.47a, no wonder what you're experiencing with eMule sucked. Read up on the newest development of v0.47c and then, you try your luck with eMule again.
