I want to ask something,why people still using file manager apps although there are already "MyFiles".
I'm curious and just asking.
*
Not every phone has MyFiles. Also, other file managers can do things like rename file extension, view hidden files, mount system as read/write, change file permissions, etc.

Games
- Reversi Free
- Shaky Tower
- Big Big BIG 2

Tools
- Goggles (Google using image)
- Papago X5 (navigation app)
- Green Power (cuts off your 3G/Wifi when your phone screen is off so it saves battery. really works for me)

- Cinema Showtimes (showtimes in Malaysia)
- GO Launcher Ex (home launcher. the ui is a LITTLE faster than the original home. doesn't lag)

Ever had the ringtone volume accidentally changed accidentally because you inintentionally pressed the volume rocker? Introducing Volume Control +. It allows you to set the individual volumes, and lock it in place.

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.c...umePlus&feature

You can choose to lock any volume you want. Like for me I lock the ringtone and notification volume. This respects the ringer mode, like if you put silent mode, the ringtone and notification will be silenced as well. BTW you can also lock the ringer mode, in case you do not want to accidentally change the ringer mode.

Auto launches on boot too!

Any app that can password protect a file or folder? Found some on the market but not sure if they're reliable.

Also, any messenger app that can customize background / skin? Am currently using eBuddy but don't like the background color or how it overwrites my display message (any way to disable this?).

Is there any applications to allow permission to just one app in the phone to access network connection?
*
Yes, get Permission Denied https://market.android.com/details?id=com.s...son.permissions
you can mass block network connection for all apps, then go enable for any app you like.

get Widgetsoid https://market.android.com/details?id=com.jim2
very useful you can find any toggle widgets all in one app
one of the toggles is called 'always on'... just tap on the toggle and your screen won't lock forever smile.gif

guys... asking for advice. currently using TweetDeck. i kinda like it because its a one-stop for Twitter & FB updates for me (can also do 4Square checkin).. and I can also have multiple accounts.

but there are some little bugs (or maybe i dunno how to use TweetDeck properly) like when i get the @me updates (usually FB posts), sometimes i can't seem to be able to click and go to the post to reply.

and there are just some little quirks like refresh rate now working like it should. set to 15mins but sometimes it does not update at all.

anyone can recommend another similar apps with the following requirements:
* gather posts from FB and Twitter
* support multiple Twitter account
* 4Square check-in would be nice

hello all just to share. here is an app, SmsToCalendar which help to save text messages to your calendar.

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.u...e=search_result

What it does: Save sms to calendar / facebook calendar / facebook wall.
Example of when to use it: Someone very important(e.g your wifey) sends you a text message, but you don't have time to respond to it at the moment. Use SmsToCalendar to store a reminder in your calendar in case you forget to respond.

Misc: SmsToCalendar lets you save the text message to you phone's calendar or facebook's calendar and also post it to your facebook wall.
