Fiio E9. Period lol. (Looking at Burson HA-160 atm)
You guys will probably go "Awwwwww what a waste for HD800". I must say though, E9 does a very excellent job driving these Cans. The neutrality is very very impressive. I never thought listening to little details of songs can be this exciting/enjoyable. This post has been edited by awyongcarl: Feb 17 2011, 08:55 PM |

The price here is still somewhat similar.
But if the price shot up then I'll probably not buying it, and wait for the replacement model instead heh. |

Do notice that, the DAC and amplifying process of RS180 is doing INSIDE the headphone itself. Adding an External DAC/Amp will not really help in the chain. Perhaps changing the sound signature?

QUOTE(goliath @ Mar 4 2011, 11:03 AM) Any HD228 / HD238 out there? Wonder if it's worth paying the extra to get HD238 instead of HD228. Will there be any significant difference between these two models? What's the price of these two headphones?Tho I'd say it depends on you, one is closed and another is opened. SQ vs Discreetness? |

QUOTE(ssyycc @ Mar 4 2011, 09:11 PM) If anyone dare to take risk, you could buy from ebay. There is some buyer protection if you didnt receive or get fake item. Its generally much cheaper than you can get in Malaysia. Uk seller is recomended and their shipping fee is very reasonable. Don worry much about getting taxed, unless you order very expensive stuff. Just don trust china seller. Anything above Rm500 will be taxed right? lolI think underdeclaring can get around with that but you'll risk when the parcel went missing. |

QUOTE(MrJinggles @ Mar 4 2011, 10:56 PM) Not sure about that. I've imported 5 electronic items from ebay before and I've never had to be taxed. All costing more than RM500. However, all of the items are light and packed in small boxes. Maybe that could be the reason Lucky lor you lol.I've kena before, not electronics though, just some figurines and kanna trap in kastam |
