HD800 was too expensive for me. but in general, i like the design of hd700 and it is definitely more refined than hd600. bass is tighter, mid is more neutral, the treble is laid back but sounds nice. not to mention the comfort too.

Just purchased HD650, quite a big jump since I have been using ad900 for the past 3 years.

HD-650 actually is a super high-end headphone, strongly not suggest for portable. The output impedance can reach 600 ohms
which is highest among all kind of headphones. An ipad and a portable headphone-amp won't even can reach 10% potential of HD-650.

You could try pair it with 332S or 339. Liquidgal has a demo to try them out. For littledot you might look for someone own it.
HD650 and AD900 is different league and signature, I more prefer to AT sounds since it is more mid focus rather than dark and laidback Senn's signature.

I'm looking for some a good DAP... Basically I'm looking for Fiio and Ibasso because sony and iRiver are bit overpriced... Fiio X5 and Ibasso DX90 basically both dual DAC and multiple pre-amp and amp support... Fiio X5 vs Ibasso DX90... Which one better?

FiiO X5 only has a single DAC

I saw some of the reviews of these two DAPs individually but no one shows comparison between these DAPs... So base on the performance of sound qualities, so I dont know which one is better... I saw their price is both RM1200-1400....
