Ho ho ho,
I did the same! i wasnt show up till i finally manage to get one...
the poison is too strong in this forum... i have something else to commit, so i just cant get it till last month.
heard it more expensive now due to cost had been increase or something to do with stock availability?
there are those that sell cheaper but weresnt sure is it genuine made from ireland or not.. cause a lot of "china" made floating wide on market out there.
So have to be careful when you get one =/

I agree with CooLeRthings. smile.gif

Always make sure to purchase from authorised distributors/resellers! biggrin.gif Purchasing in Malaysia or Singapore, always double check that the warranty is covered by Pantrade as they are Asia's sole distro (there should be a warranty seal/card and you're good to go).

his HD595 is over budget for me. Plus I gotta sell my DT440 first, or should I just stay with this? MS1 does sounds great hmm.gif but I don't like their pads, not good for using long in my room, my room is warm, after sometime the foam will starts to tear off sad.gif

erm.sennheiser hd555 is discontinued?and i just hav my eyes set on em

Yeap, the replacement's HD558, (HD518 and the HD598 as well, replacing the HD515 and the HD595 respectively). Sennheiser did mention that the material used on the HD5x8 after the first few initial batches are being reinforced, and will not crack around its headband area unlike its predecessors of HD5x5.

Which is good or not? I wonder if the free shipping is also to Malaysia or US only hmm.gif
*
Unauthorised/Nonauthorised. How can that be good...? It means Sennheiser products bought from Shoreline Music will not be applicable for Sennheiser's warranty and servicing... And the purchase will not be recognised by Sennheiser.

Their free shipping will always be local US only. laugh.gif

I see. But is it original? Coz the seller is 100% positive lol. Sennheiser warranty is international or local?

Oh, how much is the postage to Malaysia usually?
p/s; Sorry for all the questions. Quite tempted la RM1k+ for a new HD650 biggrin.gif

Save the trouble and buy from Jaben. Exchange rates go about RM3.2 per 1USD now, slap on shipping about 40~50 USD for Priority Mail and it totals close to RM1300, exclusive of taxes from the Customs. Plus no point purchasing from Shoreline, regardless whether it is original or not, cause Sennheiser will refuse to service it as Shoreline is a non-authorised dealer, which just means they are not allowed to carry Sennheiser products in the first place

To be upfront with you, Sennheiser retailers in US are not actually allowed to ship out of US, and if discovered, will be penalised. You can confirm with Sennheiser USA about this.

The HDVD800 is an amplifier designed by Sennheiser presented in the IFA Conference, alongside with the IE800. The IE800 should be a single dynamic driver IEM:

QUOTE(Sennheiser @ Apr 12 2012)
The interior of the IE 800 conceals many small but effective innovations: the centrepiece is Sennheiser’s specially developed Extra Wide Band (XWB) driver. With a diameter of just 7 mm, it is the smallest wide-band sound transducer currently available in dynamic headphones. Its functional principle guarantees distortion-free sound even at high sound pressure levels. "Until now, high-quality in-ear headphones have used so-called balanced-armature multi-drivers,” explained Senior Acoustic Engineer Axel Grell. “Reproducing the entire audio spectrum requires several narrow-band drivers to be operated in parallel. However, this results in very slight jumps and delays in music reproduction." By contrast, the miniature-sized XWB driver developed by Sennheiser is able to perfectly reproduce the entire audible frequency spectrum and beyond. The advantage: music is played back with crystal clarity and with absolute time precision.

Nice to see you around, Akabane. biggrin.gif Wonder what you are going after with all the sales you're doing recently.

Still loving my HD650. Just ordered a pair of replacement earpad + headpad for about RM230 shipped, the cushions are already pretty damn flat now.

Don't think it's appropriate for me to post this here since it's a Senn thread, but do yourself a favour and check out Blox Earphones. tongue.gif

If you can ask on the recommendation stickies I can share more there perhaps. smile.gif

I saw your review on M2C, but locally able to get it?

<offtopic>
Get the Blox BE3 when Blox is selling it again. smile.gif I would say it is at least 2~3 levels more superior than the Blox M2C - Less coloured, better in technicalities, etc etc... Overall the better earbud.

Not locally though, 30USD + 7USD for shipping from their website.

I've stopped using the Yuin PK3 and Yuin PK1 these days.
