One should never wear a collar pin and tie bar together. It's like wearing a belt and suspenders at the same time.

So was the pink linen fabric and the light blue linen fabric. They were less than RM40. All via The Cunning Yet Incredibly Arduous Plan.

Hi guys not quite sure whether this is the correct thread to ask or not but is this considered a formal attire? Excuse the shoe, I am replacing it with a black leather shoe. Is it suitable for a prom/graduation dinner?

Does ALT line his jackets by hand completely(with pick stitching along the front)?

The thing with RTW is that they always come with very detailed linings and machine pick stitching. There's even piping along the front panels and seams.

Alright, thanks for the enlightenment.

I really need to read up on materials. A lot of info on this thread about making suits and the construction/fit. Not much on the different types of fabric, fabric weight, durability, etc.
*
Durability? Nobody here actually wore out a suit before. You shouldn't worry so much on that. Focus more on drape.

It is still in prototype stage. Hitherto, it works perfectly well for flaccid cocks.

I'm going to call it the Jeremy tool.

Brilliant invention, loke-chai! Johny ruler on a fly pick stitched with contrasting thread.

Now go and have it patented before SF-ers copy your idea and start comparing their measurements (and god forbids - with pictures included) in the fora.

Would you like to try one? I'll personally come over and measure yours for an appropriate scale to be used.

IMO what really matters for most people would be the weight of the cloth and drape. Stay away from something too soft. Stretch the cloth. Is it stretchy? Crumple the cloth and let rest. Does it wrinkle much? Examine the fabric in natural light. Is it glossy?

Serge weave is your typical cotton chino weave. In terms of touch, it won't be much different from normal weaves. In the end, all boils down to the type and fineness of the cloth itself.
